From what I read earlier today, didn't that guy had a fight with his wife or was it ex-wife and he got so angry that he start walking into the lake and start drowning?

Now..isn't that his fault? Sound like to me he wanted to die, he is living unwanted life.. Sounded like it >.<

I agree what those teens did are harsh and they even video taped it...

Forgive me for being harsh, Life does come cheap to me due to living for 2,000 years and going though countless wars trying to rebuild Roman empire!

If that is true and I saw him just walk into the lake I'm not sure I'd risk my life to go save a guy who was trying to kill himself when there very well could be alligators in the water since it is Florida. Though to clarify my knowledge on whether alligators are that common in lakes isn't really based in anything so if I was a resident of Florida and knew the area what I just stated I would do would be subject to change.

Yea, its wise to be aware of your surrounding.. Tell you the truth I'm not sure what I'll do if I happen to be there on that day.. I probably yell out to let others know about this man that are drowning.. I'm 79% sure I probably won't dive in due to having hearing aids on and not liking the idea of getting my clothes wet..-sighs- but I probably have to force myself to try to save this guy... but hard to say.. saying and doing it are two different thing! XD

You'd at least call 911 though, right?

Sorry. We do suck a lot.

Sad part is it's Cocoa Beach Fl. The surf capital of the east coast. I grew up in this area and everyone knows how to swim at an early age. One of these scum could've helped for sure.

I see this trend more and more often in society, even to the extent where other people are showing me videos that they think are "super hilarious" and it ends up being about someone getting hit by a train or something. It's disgusting but I guess that's what our society has become. We are so exposed to absolutely everything imaginable with no room to breathe, even to the point where commercials are incredibly sexualized or fucked up in some way just to get 2 seconds of our attention. We don't think about these things but we all get bored so easily and our interest only holds up to when the next celebrity commits suicide or the next pair of boobs. Maybe we've always been like this and now it just shows, or maybe we've lost something precious in our first world society where our biggest catastrophe would be a temporary loss of internet.

Sorry. This wasn't meant as a highroad comment. I am scum as well.

The Good Samaritan law protects a person if they try to help. It does not oblige a person to help. There is no law that requires a person to help someone in danger unless you are a legal guardian or caretaker or it is your job.

The only thing they could be charged with in any state is not reporting a dead body.
