No, they won't. Even the crooks at Funimation.

No, they likely won't. Or what is probably more likely, they can't. These are Funimation licenses. Funimation would have to allow CR to stream to LATAM, which would mean Funimation would need to have the LATAM licenses in the first place, which they may not. If the licenses were to be expanded, it would have to be done by Funimation. It is entirely possible that CR couldn't negotiate directly with the Japanese licensors to expand regions, because it could be breach of contract with Funimation.

Exactly. That duty is entirely by Funimation, but since Funimation doesn't want to do that for our region (and no, I don't expect that since they're a company and they will do they want for the sake of it), they won't. Even the simulcast or 0-year titles.

So happy to see Michiko to Hatchin. Watched part of it back when Funi had it on Hulu. Can't wait to finish it here!

Wait an minute, wait an minute I have a question how can Buddy Crisis and Oni-Ai, both of which had a SUB only home release by Funimation even be part of the deal since these serise were never Dubbed?

I'll speculate on why I believe these two shows never got an English DUB. Oni-Ai because no U.S. based (non-hentai) distributor would try to dub and release a series with light to strong incest themes to large retail chains. (Action/ Harem shows where main girl calls the M.C. Oni-chan but theyare non blood related seem to be exempt)

And I'm pretty sure they said Buddy Crisis didn't enough views 6+ months after simulcast of the last episode

Oh, wont you look at that! Again a title that every other Nordic country gets but not Finland... This is seriously starting to get depressing.

The license Funimation took out probably specifies the regions as "Scandinavia" (which does not include Finland by definition) rather than Nordic countries (which includes Finland).

Iceland is part of Scandinavia?

Good to see all of these additions to the CR catalogue! I imagine that the Aria fans, in particular, are going to be happy.

So wheres the other 13 eps of Buddy complex?

You mean 2 additional episodes. It had 2 additional special episodes, not a full second season.

They are still available at Funimation (along with the 13 CR has, at least for the moment).

Since the moderator I reported this to didn't do anything, your link on Robotics;Notes is missing a t so it is throwing a 404 error. You may want to fix it.

Thank you Crunchy for these new additions, and for all the others that have been added the past couple months. My anime plate is full.

I'm not sure it was written anywhere in any statement I've read that they would port over anime they already have dubs of only. It's a good thing really, more the merrier they say. That and some of these are not available anywhere else for some of us legally to stream. I watched that OniAi for 2 episodes to get a jist of it and it's prob the least comfortable I've been watching an anime in years lol. You're right - it's not even subtle!

I don't check these threads very often any more because the licenses randomly include Scandinavia have become more and more scarce, bit hey, here is one again. And it is MUCH older than 2015 which means nope, there is no logic to this. But thanks for Scrapped Princess! That's possibly the catalog show available to be I 'm most interested in period.

It holds out hope that some sub-only titles Funimation has that even they don't stream (or at least stream all of) might eventually show up on CR. Given that the two examples I can think of off the top of my head (Good Luck! Ninomiya-kun and Omamori Himari) were on CR first in the past, it would feel like they were coming back home.
