I ride the train to work and apparently there just isn't quite enough bandwidth for high quality. So I said eh, I'll just change to low quality in settings. Nothing changed. Changed back to high, nothing changed. Most times when it stops to buffer, I'll get the last few seconds of audio repeating over and over (sometimes in low quality!) until it buffers enough to continue (in high quality) and the audio/video quality very rarely drops to low even though I have it set to low in the settings. This is very annoying and nearly unusable. I can stream youtube in 360-480p without buffering so I'd like to watch CR forced in low quality please. It's driving me nuts!!

Using Note 4 with 6.0.1 and latest app.

I'd like to bump this issue, as I have the same problem.

Ahhhhh! It's so annoying!
It took me an hour to watch a 20 minute episode!

Using my phone as a hotspot, it's completely fine while doing other things on my computer.
Why can't we just select the resolution like in YouTube?

Edit: Using the latest lineageOS build on a motoG4 with 4gLTE high speed data.
I'm going to try to experiment a bit.
