Money-wise, probably... If they earned it. Near as I can tell, inherited wealth only really indicates "smartness" when it's then successfully increased and/or retained.

I would say no and it is because of a phenomenon that is not yet known to the mass public: stereotype threat. Some aspects of a test setting can make negative stereotypes more salient which distract the stereotyped individual from doing well on test. Stereotype threat is not something that the Americans would consider since their individualist culture prevent them from understanding situational influence.

I don't believe rich people re smarter, perhaps they look smart on what clothes they wear but actually they're dumb (not all). There are successful businessman who came from poor family but because they are smart they are on the pedestal of success.

That depends on what you mean by smarter. Rich people can afford more/better education so they are more educated usually. Also, if a person grows up without enough nutrients (food poor) they will literally have a less developed brain because the body won't develop properly (I learned that in Child Psychology class).
