Let's say you live in an apartment complex. You're on the first floor of your apartment building. It's summer time and children are out of school and busy playing around. This doesn't bother you even though they are loud about it. What does bother you is that it gets late into the night and the children are still playing outside. Since it's a little hot, you have a fan in your window so the screen is in. The children think it's a great idea to bang loudly on your window and scream into the window screen loudly. This goes on for a few minutes then they stop and go right back to doing it. Mind you this happens to you a few times but not all time. You ignore the sounds but the children are persistent and annoying.

What would you do about it? How do you deal with such an issue as this? Do you ignore as it continues happening or do something about it?

What do you think?

After a while, ignoring them will get tiresome and you'll eventually want to do something about it.

Honestly that is just what you have to put up with when living in an apartment complex

True, but there should be something I can do. I can't move somewhere else.

well there are three choices

1 complain to the land lord

2 invest in a good pair of headphones

3 murder the kids and frame the creepy single guy down the hall

I like the first two options. Not so sure about the third though.

Get a leatherface costume. Then get a chainsaw.Late at night, catch them alone and turn on the chainsaw.Wave it around and yell incoherently for awhile,Then say something like "if you ever do anything to annoy your neighbors again,'ll turn you into ground beef!!!"If you really want to ensure that you'll never be bothered again, get a dummy, but make the head a ballon filled with some type of red liquid. It's important for the dummy to look as human as possible and for the head to be covered.Put your chainsaw to to head and show them all the blood gushing out.Your guaranteed to get some of the red liquid on yourself so lick it off then look at them and say "its important to get your daily dose of vitamin I (iron) or something like "taste the rainbow."Your comfort and peace of mind is basically guaranteed after this.

Edit:I forgot to say lure them away from the apartment complex somehow, so the other neighbors won't hear.

I've lived in many apartments for the past 10+ years and have never experienced anything like this. There was the annoying banjo guy, but I could tolerate his shenanigans.

Kids aren't usually that persistent. If you ignore the antics, they'll find something else to move on to. Or just scare the crap out of them. That will work too.
