Nope. Just usually found adults were the common offenders, not children.

Go outside their window when they go inside and start yelling, screaming, and banging on everything. That'll show those little fuckers.

Give them a set of drums (using an assumed name aka Santa Claus) for either their birthdays or Christmas, whichever arrives first. Now this could backfire but at least you might be responsible for these l'il rapscallions developing an interest in rhythm & blues.

In the event you move to another apartment complex possibly you can promulgate a social group at the complex whereby condoms are free and group education is mandated / required (stigma can be reduced with offer of free beer as an enticement).

I went through this same hellish experience and people that have not gone through it simply cannot understand or make annoying comments like "they're kids".
It was a nightmare. A bunch of kids from one of the units down the end and the kids from across the street would all play right outside thge units right next to my lounge window.
The guy who's son it was in the units decided it would be a great idea to put up a trampoline for them... Remember, we're talking about a block of units, not someones back yard. A communal area where consideration should be shown.
So i had to hear kids yelling and screaming and balls hitting my roller shutter/window every single day and it would start about an hour after i got home from work and go until about an hour before i had to go to bed.
Every single day.

I did inform the rental agency but i never pushed with an actual official complaint. I rearranged my unit around, i moved my couch and tv and that into a smaller room which was formerly my computer room and moved my computer desk and chair into the former lounge.
But i was spending just as much time on the PC as i was in the lounge half the time. I invested in a good set of head phones and wear a head set when on line gaming.
I even did the whole "cant beat em join em" and played loud music a few times but i didn't like doing that because then i would annoy people to so gave me less right to complain.
I tried yelling out "shut the fuck up" as well but the kids thought that was funny.
On weekends i would go out but rarely during the week.
I went and spoke with the parents in both the unit and the house across the street and both were all smiles and assuring but the very next day nothing had changed.

I decided that i could not live with it anymore. It was making my life hell and i preferred being at work. I knew that if i pushed it shit would go down because people dont fuck around when their kids are involved and i was honestly ready to murder the parents.
I've never come so close to doing something stupid.
So i moved out. I broke my lease and got the fuck out of there.
I had to pay rent for a little while after i had moved out before new tenants moved in but it was worth it.
I will never live in a unit ever again unless i had NO other choice.

Funny thing was, my mates i moved in with, one was a perfect house mate but the other made me move out from there as well (unemployed, gambling addict, drug addict, always asking for money, would never leave me the fuck alone)

The place i live now i've had problems with nuisance dogs that never stop fucking barking. I contacted the local council but they're fucking USELESS in my area.
I've avoided knocking on their doors to avoid conflict and some would call that cowardly but i have put letters in peoples letter boxes over it. Sometimes remaining anonymous , sometimes telling them where i lived.
My letters have expressed complaint and unhappiness but i kept them civil and polite and non threatening, other than the threat of contacting the council.
I was somewhat demanding but more so expressing how much it bothered me and that i know that the world dose not revolve around me and that of course dogs will bark sometimes, but it was really annoying and hard to block out and waking me up/causing me to lose sleep, etc
Some dog owners are real bad owners, others are unaware of the problem, like when dogs bark when they're not home to hear it.

Anyways, i have found this to overall be very effective. It gives me faith that people are still good. But maybe some just fear some nut bag that took the time to write a two page letter will kill them if they dont do something? lol

Wont lie, i have also thrown bricks at fences, yelled out very loudly at it to shut the fuck up, kicked the fence, etc.

Again, people who haven't experienced it do not understand.
And people saying "just ignore it" are just as annoying as the bad neighbours themselves..

Thankfully this doesn't happen at my apartment. But I do live right by the pool, and what I find most annoying is adults acting like drunk morons at 9PM in the pool.

I would probably move out because I think is not right to tell kids to not have fun.

If they weren't kids but adults and they invite me to their party then I wouldn't care, but if they don't invite me then I would call the police and eventually move out.

What I would do is when it's late at night with the lights off and when those kids come near the window to start that crap i'd give them a taste of this

If it goes on for more than one night, approach their parents and complain. If it persists, take it to the landlord, file official complaints, etc... Maybe scare the shit out of the rotten cunts.

Your options:

1) Complain to the land lord
2) Complain to the kids' parents
3) Get some red paint (preferably the kind that looks like blood) and write "You're Next!!" somewhere on the wall
4) Bang on their windows
5) Just replace those windows with soundproof glass, and buy an AC unit

Get an AC, that's usually enough to drown out most sounds. Especially with the motor turning the fan.
