Adobe is ending Flash support in 2020.

Crunchyroll has been doing a good job with supporting its app on so many platforms, but I feel like HTML 5 would be almost foolproof (example: my iPad CR app hasn't been working, but if I could go to Crunchyroll.com and stream the videos using HTML 5, then there would be no problem).

They already have a HTML5 player, yet they hide it behind a double premium and declare it as "beta" so that people still think they have major issues to resolve.

I spent half the day getting episode 29 of MHA to play. Everything else on the site worked fine, but that one episode kept crashing my flash until I did some crazy stuff in another browser.

Gief HTML5 pls

As mentioned, CR does have an HTML5 player in beta that premium plus members can use.

There's a longstanding thread about the move to HTML5 in the site support forum, including some fairly recent comments from one of the customer support staff (shinryou).

Please continue discussion there. The link below goes directly to the next to last page, since earlier posts may not be as relevant.
