For some reason the noses look off to me in the 2nd preview.

Based on the air times, it looks like episodes are going to be only half-length this season. It's airtime is 2:28am Japan time, and Takunomi has been announced for 2:43am. Seeing that each episode is a pair of half-length segments in the first season that it fits.

Yeah it is.

15 minutes according to TBS time slot.

Oh the art style in the preview is a lot less... funky... that the key visuals released a while ago. In a good way.

I think I have a problem. I have the #1 "review" of the first season, which came out before the CR/Funimation partnership and was apparently only available on CR in some Arabic-speaking nations. My "review" is an attempted (and probably quite flawed) explanation of how that could happen. /dagashi-kashi/reviews/helpful/page1

The second season will be available dubbed on Funi and subbed on CR. https://www.funimation.com/blog/2017/12/21/simuldubs-coming-funimationnow-winter-2017/

If it goes to the same page as the first season, it'll need some actual reviews. The problem is that I'm not qualified to write one, since I didn't like the show much. I could write my actual opinion and change my review to 3 stars, but that would be a backstab to the fans who upvoted my review, so I'm not going to do that.

If, as seems to happen when seasons are licensed from different publishers (assuming Funimation is listed as season 2 publisher), season 2 is put on a separate page, this wouldn't be a problem. But if and when the first season comes to CR from Funimation, the same issue would arise.

In either case, would it be possible for CR to delete all of the reviews that aren't actually about the show, leaving a blank slate for new, real reviews? That would be an ideal solution.

I could just delete my review, but as it stands, that would not leave better ones at the top.

I could embed someone else's review in mine, with permission and attribution. However, site policy is that reviews should be one's own work.

So these are shorter episodes? That's good. The show does get boring about halfway through an episode. I've seen enough about Japanese snacks after 10 minutes. So yeah, I'm glad for the change.

This is one of the few times I actually agree with this sentiment. 23 minute episodes dragged a bit too much gushing over Japanese candy, so the shortened content should hopefully gut out all the unnecessary exposition. I suppose it doesn't help that I'm not Japanese myself and as such, I can't really relate to or understand all the cultural candies that are teased in the anime.

Just catching up on the first season and I find the dub hilarious - mainly in how the show is so suggestive, but the characters are all pretty pure and naive so far. Only half way through the season, though. Hopefully things don't change too much.

Shorter episodes for Season 2 are ok, I guess, but I'm not having any issues with the first season so far.

I definitely feel that making it a short is a better option. As much as i liked first season, some episodes seemed padded and drug on a bit.

I am still excited for S2, even with all the changes.
