Vrv comes with crunchyroll but it costs $3 more a month, so I was curious if it was worth it

I've not tried it myself, but my cousin swears by it. He says it's good quality and a good selection, but .... that's hearsay, obviously. But you aren't going to get the same choices. Might want to look up what anime they air before you make a decision for one or the other.

That is relatively good news. I am more curious about functionality, ease of use, and streaming quality. As far as what anime it streams, that isn't too big of a deal as long as they get some of the new titles.

I've moved this to the Advice, Info, Recommendations forum.

Last I knew, Funimation on VRV was dub only. If you prefer dubs then Funimation, either via VRV or Funimation's FunimationNow service is a good choice.

If you are interested in having lots of simulcast, then CR is where you'll get more of those. Funi gets a few for simuldubbing but it's just a handful.

If you prefer subs then CR is a good choice. Funimation does have a lot of titles with both sub and dub (on their own site, not VRV), but as a lot of their titles come over to CR as subs it's possible Funi is only retaining the dubs for those--not really sure about the extent of that.
