i'm about 2-10 ft from my work. Instead of spending 2 hr or so for driving to work and back + getting ready for work.. I added 2 extra hour of work per day (14 hr/week) by working from home.

We will put more money in the consumers' pockets and increase productivity if we don't waste so much time on commute/getting ready to work.

you work and sleep in your office or something ?

Some jobs could allow people to work from home if they want instead of forcing them to drive 30-50 minutes to work. You can track people using computers when they are logged in so there's no need to come to work anymore

Depends which school. Ele - HS took anywhere up to 1.5 hours to 5 minutes. In Uni I spent 5 min max getting to class by foot from nearby apartments.

As for work, 10 minutes, give or take 5 due to traffic or lack thereof.

I work from home, so usually it's about 45-90 minutes as I watch some shows to prepare for the day...

My work commute is typically 22-23 minutes heading to work and 24-30 minutes going home (rush hour traffic).

Eek. I remember when I was a manager for a small business and had to be there at 6am. It was an hour commute and that was rough at times. I can't imagine an hour and a half!

I'm about 5 minutes from work now, but for many years when I lived in Minnesota I averaged 45 minutes, and usually closer to an hour during the winter months.

What's funny is how people complain about raising the wage to $15/hr.

I remember when I used to make $10/hr full time, and I was commuting an hour because I couldn't afford housing near my work area. I made it work for a year with $10/hr with no pecuniary aid from my parents nor the government.

But most proletariats are foolish with money and consume more than they make. And decide they want to live an opulent lifestyle.

The most rewarding part of working with this wage is I was also able to save money. If people actually care about becoming affluent, you need to increase your financial edification.
