So, tell me, during a monster apocalypse, where will you take refuge when your home is no longer available to use?

a shopping center (malls are mostly ghost towns these days, so too much open space to be trapped with a monster) but as a shopping center got a lot of active things with plenty of resources. just remember the more you allow in the worse your chances of survival begins. so, learn to adapt to live alone, your resources will last you months to even years longer. just remember to purge and barricade the place first.

We shall go up north, somewhere with a lot a nature so we can hunt, gather fruits, water and wood for fire. Monsters tend to go where there is a lot a population, so farder you are, the more chance you have to survive. Bring a cat with you too, it important to have someone to care.

I was between Hospital or Shopping center and decided to go with the shopping center. There would be a good variety or resources in a shopping center and you could probably barricade the place to make it safe.

I'd just straight up die. It's not like I even want to be alive right now, so a monster apocalypse would just be a convenient excuse.

That said, I'd probably try to get my loved ones (including the cats) somewhere safe, so someplace I can barricade, with water supply and where small scale farming is possible. Close up the place, make sure to boil water before drinking, and survive out of farming. Pray to not get sick, but still, getting sick in any place during an apocalypse is a liability.

Well, it does depend on the monster, but generally staying in one place is probably a bad idea.

If we're talking giant Godzilla monster, be agile (car or no car) and getting away is probably best.
Smaller, humanoid, invasion type thing, hunkering down and hiding might be better

Of course, were you start in relation to where it starts matters. If Godzilla shows up on the opposite side of town, I'll have my sneakers on and be several miles out in the woods before he gets anywhere. Right on top of me? Well, shit.

But yeah, in general, I trust my reactions and having the ability to react

Of the choices
Hotel has a bit of everything to survive
A house is the least conspicuous for a giant monster
None of them are good places to defend from and invading force

Loot all three and run like hell

I mean realistically I'd be totally dead after like, a week. Zombies terrify me and I also have severe asthma so once my inhaler runs out that's it for me.

Disregarding that though, I'd probably try to get a ride farther up north. I'm already in Canada, but I know of some very hidden away cabins which are freezing even in the summer and have a good supply of fish if I need to get food. There's plenty of plants since it's in a forest, and hardly any people since the closest town is likely more than 45 minutes away. Maybe the zambambos would arrive eventually, but the plan is I'd have enough time to prepare before then.

Though if they're World War Z zombies I'm screwed. Those guys can just walk under water. I can't really swim, so I guess I'll just drown myself or something. No guns up here. Drowning is a bad way to go, but at least if the water is freezing I probably wouldn't feel much before my death?

*I just realized this said MONSTER apocalypse, huh. Welp. That's my answer in case of a zombie apocalypse, at least.

There is strength in numbers, particularly when you can succumb to things other than hunger. People to scavenge, to help fight, etc.

Well, I'd probably steal one of the numerous boats docked not too far from here, and hightail it out to sea for awhile.

Hospitals and malls for monster apocalypse is a no no. They're public spaces. You'll DIE!

I would totally go to the mall so I could just wear nice clothes and dance around until I died, because I know I would last no time.
