I watched the studio Ghibli movies when I was a little kid, then started reading manga in middle school. Watched my first anime series in high school and have watched ever since

Back in September 2013. That's where all started. I found CR in April 2015. Those were the days... It never gets old.

When Starblazers first aired in 1979. I've kept watching ever since, from fan-subbed VHS imports to DVDs to streaming. (I resisted the Blu-Ray revolution for many years.)

Started watching anime series and movies in 2010, when I was 11 years old. Started reading manga 1-2 years later, I think.

It all started in early 2016 for me. I've spent a good amount of time watching anime by now.

Of course I did see stuff like Pokémon and Captain Tsubasa on TV as a kid but I thought they were just like every other cartoon so I never actively watched anime back then. So early 2016 is when I started doing it as a hobby.

I saw Laputa: Castle in the Sky (on TV) and then Robotech (on VHS) in the late 80s when I was about 6 or 7 years old. I had no idea what Anime was at the time though...

I only became aware of Anime and it's Japanese origins in the early 90s, when Manga UK started releasing titles on VHS like: Fist of the North Star, Golgo 13, Space Adventure Cobra, Appleseed, Ninja Scroll, Venus Wars, etc.

Having grown up in the VHS era of Anime (paying £15 per tape, each containing about 3 episodes), the modern age of streaming and simulcasts feels like a magical wonderland by comparison!

In the early 90's, a Japanese friend gave me a VHS tape of My Neighbor Totoro and another of Anpanman episodes taped off of Japanese TV (all undubbed, without subtitles). Those are the first anime I recall watching. I liked the commercials on the Anpanman tape more than the episodes!

Back on 2006/07, when I was 11. Unless pokémon/dragon ball and the sorts count, because if they do it's since I was about 4-5. Still watch it (I' mean I'm on CR afterall), so about 11 years of anime. Literally half my life haha

Too young, probably. When I was 6-7, I started off with some classics (Sailor Moon, CCS & more) on VCR recorded tapes and CDs. Then stumbled my way to "newer" anime that aired on TV such as Pokemon, Digimon, DBZ, YGO/GX and would record/buy anything anime at the time. I would always prefer anime more than the american cartoons on TV and at the time I didn't know what anime was. I started buying manga when I was around 8-10 and joined CR in 2011.

I've been hooked on anime and manga since a very young age and it's become a huge part of my life now, so I could say that my entire life at memory is spent on anime. Even if I don't watch much anymore, I'm still very involved with anything anime-esque as it reflects on my art and my general interest. I'm 18 now and I probably won't ever "get over" anime.

Somewhere in 1982, it started with Starblazers, Gaiking, Danguard Ace, Captain Harlock, Ultraman, Speed Racer, G-Force. And I never stopped

I remember catching the re-runs! Had no idea at the time the robot was an add-in by the American distributor.

Ah Saturday Morning cartoons.
