Indeed. CR started as a pirate/fan sub streaming site that went legit. While the fall 2008 season is when they were adding more legal simulcasts, I think it was around Thanksgiving 2008 when they started to remove the episode links. Today, if you type in 1 of the following 3609 titles in the Search bar, it will display the title but that page will say "Note: There are no videos for this Series. This page is only for discussion and informational purposes."

Using web.archive.org/web/20081217024621/http://www.crunchyroll.com:80/library/IndexAnime?src=subnav, this list brings up 3609 titles:

Mod Edit: For really long lists like this, that nobody will actually read, maybe move it to an external site like pastebin or something.

Its fine to disagree with Digi's video, but to call it "disgusting" is a bit laughable. He makes some good points from a specific perspective which I don't really share, but I understand and respect his opinion.

Some of CR's current list will have multiple seasons/series under 1 section. For example, all 3 "Dog Days" seasons/series are under "Dog Days". The following is their current list. If you count multiple seasons/series under 1 section, there's 973 titles. As separate titles, my current count is 1009. I will be updating that number and list:

Note: though some titles have both the English and Japanese versions in its section, I am not going to count the English dubbed versions separately for simplicity sake.

Please, be serious. Digibro isn't supporting Piracy, he isn't saying 'go out and watch these illegal websites because they are free' so don't brand him as "disgusting". Firstly, Crunchyroll doesn't offer everything that most anime fans want, It doesn't include every single show available and region blocking exists for most users (Including me). Whereas the sites that we aren't allowed to talk about (You know the ones I mean) offer a far better service than Crunchyroll, and a more economic way for people to watch anime than buying the over-priced blu-rays. You clearly haven't watched the video at all, or the point he is making is beyond your comprehension. Digibro's point is reasonable and well-founded, he isn't advocating for piracy, he is simply stating obvious problems with the anime industry and sites like Crunchyroll, and explaining why people use the illegal sites, and why they offer a far better service than sites such as Crunchyroll.

I'll recommend that argument to a shop lifter I know to use in court. I considered going to the checkout but it was more economical to just walk through the door...

God fucking damn it, I cannot even quote the post Kadmos1 had or edit it properly. My message outside of said quotes won't show when I edit, and I cannot even get the full list, never mind the entire quote.

Spoiler quotes man, you need spoiler quotes.

Kadmos1 just broke the system is all. If you check the list it stops midway through R, meaning that a large amount of text covering the rest of the alphabet was cut off.

If you quote the message and cut the list down a bit more there should be room for you to add a response. However, do you need to quote the list to respond?

It's a point I made not an argument. And yes blu-rays are considered one of the only morally sound ways to watch anime, paid streaming sites like Crunchyroll and strike need to up their game, so that more people will use legal sites rather than illegal ones. Also, don't be a cunt, you aren't furthering the discussion.

ronchester44, I was just comparing your "point" to a real world situation to highlight the relative ethics of the what you were saying. By my definition that is furthering the discussion. However if you want to descend to the level of name calling then don't let me stop you.

you can actually buy certain licesned series in bluray, full cour, for abour $30 or so, which isn't "outrageorusly expensive"
non-licensed series will cost you $50 - 60 per disk with 2 episodes though - and that's not including the shipping costs / duty tax
