I'm pretty sure China can overthrow America.

Especially when they got Russia as bros.

They just want to see if they are stupid enough to strike first.

Hey Trump... North Korea said ur army is trash, like do you really call that an army, you wouldn't even last a day. Oooooo look at us now, ( don't you nuke Guam, I told you what would happen) oh you mean like this ? * Hovers hand over button* ( S-stop) I'm gonna press it, look how close I am. ( fuck off! THAT'S IT!!)

And that's how China became the super power of the world. That's history for the people.

That's scenario is not even possible. First Trump has the nuclear codes not a magic, kill all, button. They actually require two people to launch, as a fail safe. A nuclear response to a single nuclear strike is also over kill. our military is far larger, better equipped, and not starving to death. A real war, not a war like Syria, but a true were going to wipe you off the planet war, would end very quickly.

China is buying up all of our real estate here in USA anyways. It's bound to happen sooner or later.

A few of my friends do real estate, and they say almost 80% of their sales are to Chinese who don't even speak english.

Canada, America, Mexico are all close to each other, what we need is a fast inter continental transport system

...So what? The U.S. and Mexico speak different languages. Part of Canada doesn't speak much English. There is more between us than a little ground.

Sure U.S. and Mexico speaks different language, but you don't need a reason to visit Hogwarts even if you can't use magic. Not to mention I was taught Spanish in high school. Part of Canada does not speak English, ya they probably speak Canadanese.

Thing is once this intercontinental travel opens up, the population would be jumbled up and a dominant language would appear, let it be English or Chinese. Sorry about the late reply

Hmm, the intercontinental system was referring to the underwater train connecting US to China. That or hyperloop. Imagine going to work in China

Or if you can go that fast above water with some sort of electromagnetism. IE. ionocraft

America isn't ready tbh.

Neither is China.

The notion of either country merging in beyond preposterous, even if they willingly did so in some bizzaro alternate universe. Cultures, values, politics ,and peoples couldn't be more different. For all it's faults, the United States is still a very ethnically diverse nation, China is in the complete opposite spectrum. Languages, writing, and religions between both countries are as alien as they could get, they developed independently from one another and have absolutely nothing in common .Mexico would be far, far more plausible merger with the US and even that is highly unlikely.

cringeworthy little otakus trying their hand at "lets have world peace" rhetoric and feelgood "we're not that different! we can totally merge" type of discourse. Is this really the typical Crunchyroll denizen? wow.

obviously not many have been outside their bedrooms, much less to other countries to see what the hell they are proposing is insane.

Wow, where to even start here? There's no play in which China and America would both benefit from such a merger. China already owns most of the world's debt do to the fact that most manufacturing plants now operate of there. Most plants move there of course because of the lax labor laws, which would stiffen if America were to try exerting power in their work force. China would never accept this, and America would balk at finding out that we don't have as much political power as we think we do.

There's are also so many little questions that may seem unimportant, but will create huge divides because these things matter when running a country, no less 2. Which country holds the seat of power? What do they do about the many countries that lie between both land masses. Who changes their form of currency? Who has the greater voting power in elections? What happens when one country is attacked? Do we scramble the whole military our just keep the other country's military on alert until we know what's happening? How do we bridge the cultural divides between our 2 countries? Americans are loud and brazen where the Chinese are quiet and generally meekly mannered. What do we do about export/import taxes? America has never claimed an official language, so would we now need to declare 2 maybe 3? I could go on and on because there are thousands of these questions that need to be answered. Merging 2 countries isn't as easy as saying "everybody place nice now." Entire economies would be on the line, and if it's done poorly they could easily collapse. Hell the economy would most likely collapse even if it's done perfectly.

Let's see, if you look at it from Asian perspective. We got the east, we got India. You guys got Russia, Canada. The Mediterranean and latino are 3rd group so.

It's about who can come up with the best AI. Is AI so simple to build? Not sure

You'll need to conquer the sea first, else you'll be bordered at the land mass. My current idea is a floating hamster ball above the sea. That or if you get teleportation to work.

P.S But who says we can't? It's the crazies that change the world. We should bribe North Korea
