Ideally you should eat at regular intervals throughout the day in small portions like our hunter-gatherer ancestors would have. Not eating breakfast will make you sluggish as your body will still be working with dinner, and slow its metabolism to prevent you from burning all of your fat reserves.

In order to get the maximum weight reduction effect, you should also get 45 minutes of cardio in before breakfast and then stock up on fats and proteins to prevent yourself from getting hungry later in the day. I usually have an imitation crab sandwich on toast or cottage cheese with jam.

Why would i skip it? Then again, there are times when i've missed it, either because i was in hurry or for other reasons.

My last meal is usually around 5-6pm so yeah by the time I wake up I'm hungry af and I kinda need to eat. I usually have a big-ish breakfast that involves Eggs,beans/lentils,cheese,and some fruit, or just a lot of rice and chicken.

After doing some research I think breakfast is super important especially when it's coupled with bright light exposure (Sun) it helps entrain our circadian rhythm (24-hr internal clock) so that we can actually feel awake and sleepy at the right times of the day, along with some other cool stuff that comes along with a good circadian rhythm.

It's not like I can jump out of bed and the first thing I do is start shoveling food in my mouth, but yes, I generally eat breakfast. Whenever I have to be out of the house before 5:00 am though, I generally don't, because I am just too tired to eat, and if I try I feel sick.

I'm sitting here eating breakfast before heading off to college. And I asked my mother why she didn't eat breakfast since she was the one who taught me, that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Her answer was that she just isn't hungry in the morning.
I personally can't live without breakfast and need a big breakfast. (Oatmeal, coffee, juice and a bowl of fruit)

So I am curious how many are like my mother or like me. What are your breakfast routines? Are you hungry in the morning and need a big breakfast, or can you live on only a cup of coffee, or are you just simply not hungry until lunch?

the experienced ones (or late) will also eat while driving!!

left hand on the wheel and right hand holding a sandwich!! It's the daily routine of a college student (back then anyway). This is why i'm in favor of self driving cars!! College students can get proper meals and sleep instead of wasting it on driving!

Hahaha! I don't have a drivers license. But I have a mom who's willing to drive me every morning. So in case I am too late to enjoy my breakfast in peace, I can just enjoy it on the passengers seat ^^'

Nope. For some reason eating something in the morning makes me sick. I've tried eating everything from fruit, yogurt, toast, eggs, even what I would normally eat for lunch, and it all just makes me sick.

coffee tends to be my "breakfast" I don't really eat nor get hungry until around seven or so, but when you get up around one or so in the afternoon that tends to have an effect somewhere I'm sure. I typically eat two meals a day, the main meal and then the second is typically some fruit of some sort and a light snack at true bedtime of some cookies or something and some milk.

Yea, I told mother she doesn't have to fix me anything if she not going to eat. I tend to eat only Apple for Breakfast.
