It seems there is still hope for the USA as we are still holding true to our core beliefs despite certain leftists willing to throw it all out to prevent offending <insert imaginary oppressed group>.

Eighty-three percent (83%) think it is more important for the United States to guarantee freedom of speech than it is to make sure nothing is done to offend other nations and cultures.

Seventy-three percent (73%) agree with the famous line by the 18th century French author Voltaire: “I disapprove of what you say but will defend to the death your right to say it.” Only 10% disagree with that statement, but 17% are undecided.

Among Americans who agree with Voltaire, 93% rate freedom of speech as more important than making sure no one is offended. That compares to just 69% of those who disagree with the French author's maxim.

The rates haven't even changed much between now and 2014 so people are not buying their nonsense.

censorship is not something exclusive to left or right wing beliefs. Besides, it's easier to say "We must keep Freedom of Speech!" than it is to hold by it

73% of who? The whole United States? Some random village in Egypt? Why do you believe in articles like this? I don't understand how people can troll/genuinely like reading these kinds of articles. Like this post gave me cancer, and so did that article. I don't see the point in it. Who took their time to come up with the BS info? The freedom of speech isn't going anywhere. No need to have a political circle jerk over it.

20% of people say my penis is small.

60% say they are worried about my penis.

80% post articles about it.

105% of Americans believe that you can be more like to become

ehh at first something like this i wouldnt look into it at all but that website you got this from..... these sites dont source anything. it didnt tell me HOW they got these numbers. how many people they surveyed. where was the poll taken from. i can go on and on

this could be a poll of 25 people at a local Walmart in Dunwoody, Ga. this could be a poll the dude pulled from his own bum. this is why i stick with reputable sources. it starts with innocent headlines like you have here. "oh alot of people care about free speech? oh i knew that" then they start making wilder claims like " 80% of black people like Trump" or "Pence is mulling over starting the impeaching process of Trump" etc etc. and people will gobble it up.

edit: looking closer it said its a poll of 1k people, which is tiny. doesnt give a range of the locations of people, just people who visit that site. again thats not a good way to do a poll at all. 1000 people is tiny, and leaving it up to people who only visit the site is a way to have a hive mind way of thinking, compared to WaPo/ABC and Quinnipiac University polls, which could ask up to and OVER 100,000 (one as high as 650,000) people and randomly call people by phone throughout the country. you might never ever go on WaPo ever or read their paper, but hats how you know their polls are accurate

Almost like the first amendment is a bipartisan issue, until you get into the partisan details of what defines "free speech" anyway.

Another mysterious poll that no one seems to know about until after the supposed results are disclosed. I certainly side with Voltaire, but I also consider these kinds of polls to be a joke.

I wonder if I will get in trouble if I make a poster of this to hang on my wall.

Copyright issue, I mean.
