Alright. I know that streaming is bad and illegal and stuff. But is it bad if i watch sometime streaming but i have crunchy premium +? I mean im still supporting anime and manga industry and stuff.

On crunchyroll there isn't every anime, so if there isn't an anime i wanna watch really bad, that kinda sucks :/

Crunchyroll is a streaming service, however, from the context of your post, you appear to be talking about "illegal streaming."

You have already acknowledged that illegal streaming is bad so I won't debate you on that subject. However your justification of using your support for Crunchyroll is a little flawed.

Crunchyroll streams series by a number of production teams and studios and a portion of the subscription fees and advertisement revenue goes back to those production teams and studios.

If you watch an illegal stream of a show that isn't on Crunchyroll no money goes to that production team or studio. After all, Crunchyroll aren't going to pay for something they haven't licensed.

You may be supporting part of the anime industry through Crunchyroll but you should be under no illusion that you are supporting the creators of a show you watch on an illegal site.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but CR I think pays based on the views each show got. So the point is actually that when you watch a show elsewhere, CR pays no money to that studio regardless if the show is on here.

I would say it depends

Is it a show you can get through Crunchyroll or a related service?

For me, that's always the key factor.

A combination of Geo-blocking and expensive subscriptions services make me very unsympathetic to the whole doing the right thing.

Sorry for the rude answer following. But what-the-fuck. Im like paying 100 bucks each years for legal anime. Isn't it fucking enough? Its not like i only watch illegal streaming, and if i do, this ain't ur business and if something "happen" then i'll be responsible of it.

You posed a question "I know this is illegal but is it bad" and I gave you an answer. It is an entirely factual answer as the only point I made is that the money you pay Crunchyroll doesn't help the creators of the shows you watch illegally. If you think I am wrong please tell me which mechanism Crunchyroll uses to pay for that illegal anime.

Saying it is none of my business to give you a factual answer to a question you asked is downright bizarre.

Were you trolling with your first question or were you just expecting universal sympathy?
