How to End the Gender Death Gap | We the Internet TV
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vqts_CU7c6o

One of the "gaps" that people often don't talk about. We do need more diversity by having more women in all these man dominated fields.

The local police departments are recruiting more women lately-- you will be on top of the list if you are a woman!! They will also lower the physical test requirement for women as well
https://www.phoenix.gov/police/joinphxpd/physical-fitness-standards

There are a lot of fields that need to me more diverse, to decrease the gender death gap.

Seems like a parody, quite honestly. With a name like We The Internet, it may be mocking something else, and doesn't seem focused on it, but maybe I should look at the channel description.

It is. I can find it quite humorous.

Note: It seems to be a politically oriented and sided youtube channel with humor, so it may feel like obnoxious circle jerking. Be wary.

This reminds me of why I feel uncomfortable watching John Oliver, in that, political humor today is almost always a circle jerk, rather than using humor to break into discussion. Some shows are not made for discussion or spreading viewpoints, but disseminating them to people who already agree, and will likely find such humor to be funny, as they agree with the main message.

I think this sort of practice is a dangerous thing, in particular on young viewers who may be swayed into camps of extremism. I cannot judge this channel, it may be a good channel, but I much prefer someone telling me said viewpoints while maintaining a jovial enough attitude to not seem angry or aggressive, but not enough that they expect me to agree with them, which often happens when someone brings up extreme beliefs, hoping to find some validation. A dip the toe into murky water, so to say.

Even though I disagree with the views of popular channel SargonofAkkad, I respect that, based on what I have seen, Sargon does not do this much, versus Milo Yiannopoulos, who basically is psychopathic with his disregard for verbal and online insults as being negligible. Well no, you are still very much an asshole.

Oliver does not put enough absurdity into his work unlike Stephen Colbert, but maybe I am the absurd one here. It feels a bit too thinly veiled and wrongfully used. I would say many things like this are.

Easy. Hire more women to yell at the men "Stop that or else you going to kill yourself".

I am quite sure of this idea. I have a fair amount of fairly attractive coworkers, and three men have died yesterday at our workplace when one of our new recruits bend over, giving a full downblouse view. Two from nosebleeds, and one not realizing he was on a conveyor belt, even while he was slowly flattened under a rolling machine.

It took 45 minutes before someone realized that there was a dismembered body on the belt.

Just a reference to the "Are Small Breasts Better Thread", than any political point. Carry on.

Not really. just hard to do since we make up such a tiny portion of the population. although 'Tranny' is not a nice word.

I would say it is, without any sort of context, but honestly, I would urge one not to interact, especially with someone with only 300 CR points. Even then, I would avoid being the first person to contact a post that is otherwise not directed at any specific individual, nor provided enough of anything to take any real offense at. (Such as a racist post delineating a plan for genocide, versus a simple one liner.)

With how easy it is to say such a simple line, I do not find it worth getting worked over.

'Really? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajK68g-YJHU Most of them don't mind that word, its the SJW's that seem to have issues with that word.

It may be used in a self deprecating fashion by some. But it's definitely insensitive. it can be very contextual.

Video was kind of amusing, but a bit too on the nose for my taste.
