Hi all, I have some issues with the UWP application on Windows 10.

1) Focusing browser minimizes CR
The biggest problem that I have is that if I click in a browser on my second monitor, the CR app (that is on the primary one) gets minimized. It doesnt happen with other applications, only when I focus a browser (in my case Firefox).

2) Force a quality setting (eg 1080p instead of auto)
I would also love to have the ability to "force" a specific quality. I dont mind buffering and my connection is fast enough for me to watch in full HD. But if I skip more than 15 seconds behind (happens often enough if I get distracted), the show starts streaming in 480p for a couple of seconds.
This would not be an issue if stream contents older than 15 seconds weren't getting thrown away and disposed of by the application.

3) User experience, keyboard shortcuts
And a little usability issue: why isnt space mapped to pause/play? Double-click to enter/leave fullscreen, arrow up and down for volume +/- ? These are some simple shortcuts that are a part of every video player out there and not only enhance the user experience, but are also expected to simply "be there" by the users.

4) Offline mode
Of course my biggest issue is the still missing offline mode. I know it is not specific for the windows application, but this is very important to me so I wanted to mention it.
I am about to spend some time on the road and I cannot rely on hotel WiFi for obvious reasons. I dont want to have to resort to .. other means to obtain the shows I want. I want to give CR my money an watch content legitimately. Thats all :)

Regards!

It has been stated offline viewing is planned for later this year (but I'm expecting it to end up being some time next year). No mention of how this would be implemented, but it seems likely it would be only in apps. Whether that would include the Windows app remains to be seen.

Yea, i've read that its is supposed to come sometime this year. Just felt like mentioning it, because its important to me (and others in a similar position). Hopefully it will include windows (because my notebook is .. windows) but watching it on an android tablet wouldnt be too bad I guess. Hmmh

I agree with all of those points. Allow me to add another:

5) Hide mouse pointer in fullscreen.
The mouse pointer does not hide automatically in fullscreen. I have to move it over to the right side of the monitor, and even then the edge of it is still visible. Every other video player I've used will hide the cursor a few seconds after the last movement (usually at the same time as hiding the transport bar).

Oh yeah that one is equally annoying. I have a solution for you though! Just buy a second monitor and move the cursor out of the main screen bounds : ))
