for a burger I like them medium, I rather like the taste of meat, not the taste of burnt.

for steak rare, once again I like to taste the meat and I rather like steaks to be bloody and warm in the middle.

if its a burger i don't want to see much if any red once got really sick from eating a somewhat poorly cooked burger but i don't want it beyond that. steaks or similar though i sort of like a bit red in it

Yuk you idiots actually eat that farm raised crap..what is wrong with each and every single one of you. Only wild game is worth eating and then only if you kill,butcher, and dress it yourself.

I guess it really depends on the dish pot roast is best slow cooked and well done eye of round roast has very little fat so anything above med will make it to tough

other cuts like brisket and beef ribs should be well done

There aren't many wild cattle, to say the least, but hook me up when you track down any wild cattle herds, please.



On topic; anything redder than medium bothers me. I usually go for medium-well to well-done.

Who said anything about good ole Bos Taurus . There are plenty of perfectly good cow substitutes out there waiting to be hunted down and turned into dinner.

Sure, the elk and rabbit in PA, for instance, can stand for some culling, but I worry that the wild game would be decimated by folks trying to only eat native wildlife. Well, that, and pesky laws get in the way. Hell, New York only allows bow hunting. I'd rather have wild game for special occasions than watch the populations fade from behind bars.

I wouldn't worry about it, most people are far too lazy to do any hunting so I doubt the numbers would suffer all that much. And also I myself eat a largely vegetarian diet when game is out of season since I refuse to eat frozen meat . So personally I feel unless ya killed it yourself you don't deserve to eat meat period.

I like beef cooked except when I eat pho, then I prefer medium rare.
