Read, the mind of the girl I've been going after and persuade her to be my girlfriend at all cost. Mind reading, it makes things easier

Mindreading. It makes things creepier.

Fred, if you want to start a thread that invites others to say what they would do if they could read minds, that's fine.

But just making a thread that announces what girl-related thing you would do is not.

That said, I am just half-joking about the "creepier" thing. I do see how for some people, who feel that part of their problem in successfully forming close relationships with other people is that they can't easily pick up on some kinds of information that is conveyed no verbally, an ability like mind-reading would seem like it would make things easier.

However, to a person who's mind is being read, it could feel like invasion of privacy, and it could make things uncomfortable in that part of what helps build relationships is is learning over time what each other's needs and wants are, discovering if they are compatible, and figuring things out rather than having instant answers.

Also just knowing what someone is thinking, and using that to persuade them, isn't cool if you are just focused on persuasion "at all costs." How about using that ability to help decide if there's a basic compatibility? "At all costs" is creepy.
