So urgh.
I can't really get the words out. Still kinda in the story I guess.

I just finished watching 'Ao Haro Ride'. And I kinda wanna curse the person who recommended it to me now haha. It's soooo good. But it ends with a major cliffhanger. I even watched the ekstra 'episode 13' and the unwritten episode.
I've googled and searched for a season 2 - But with no luck. I only found forums and debates on different pages about how some think it comes, some have heard something about a season 2 but wasn't sure.
I am honestly crying on the inside. I need to know stuff! I've never read manga before. I know it's based on a manga. But I just recently started watching anime and I don't think I can read manga. Not this one anyway.

DOES ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING? PLEASE INLIGHTEN MEEEEE!!!

To be frank, I don't think there will be a second season, since the manga ended in february of 2015 and there's never been any new of continuing the anime. Manga is very easy to read, though you might mess up the reading order a couple times before getting used to it, so it's your best bet to get the rest of the story. I don't remember for sure, but it seems the anime didn't sell all that well, and was mostly used to promote the manga, so it's really unlikely it will get a second season. A shame, I really like when Kaji Yuki dubs a shoujo lead haha

There will almost certainly not be a season 2. This was based on a shojo manga, which has been completed. Usually how much anime a series based on a manga gets is based off of its marketability. Shonen manga tend to have extremely high marketability (toys, video games, etc.), shojo stuff does primarily if its mahou shojo stuff (Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura, PreCure, etc), Seinen stuff is hit and miss...

With Ao Haraido it's a pretty typical shojo romance, which means that it will usually get 1 season of anime, and a possible drama and/or movie adaptation and that's it. If the manga were still going, a second season may have been possible just for more promotion, but since it's completed, those chances are extremely slim.

The eternal problem of anime that are produced merely to sell Light Novels and manga. Heck, this is a huge problem with American TV these days also. Shows that have a continuing plot and get canceled before the plot is resolved.

If I had topic posting privileges I would start a topic just about anime people wished would get renewed to continue the story. It really sucks for those of us who don't read Japanese, because a lot of the light novels which these anime are trying to sell will never be translated into other languages.

It seems these days the majority of anime are "one season wonders", but the majority of them are also based on multi-volume light novels or manga as well. The anime get subtitled or even dubbed, but the Light Novels rarely get translated.

Probably no chance of season 2 now but I was hoping as well.

I think the anime left off around chapter 15 if I remember correctly if you want to read where the anime left off.

All I'll say is that I was one of those "never gonna read manga never ever" types for a very long time. Then I found That Series that I loved so much I had to know more. So I bit the bullet, found the manga, and after a very brief awkward period, I got used to it. Now I'm a convert. Good thing, too, considering how many anime series will never see the end of the story.

It can be done.

While unlikely, never say never, I'm surprised soul hunters is getting a whole new version

If anything we might see an OVA or two to finish it? If we get lucky, that's about it. IF we get lucky, which I doubt.

I like Ao Haru Ride as an anime too but the thing i don't like is how it ends. While it may not be possible, i wish they would just finish the rest.

I feel this way about Nisekoi. Season 1 was great, spent a lot of time on filler stuff in season 2, which I thought was because we'd get the payoff in season 3 with the Manga ending but its looking like we won't get the ending through the Anime.
