Crunchyroll runs extremely slowly about 75% of the time I use it. It's the worst when a popular anime gets a new episode but sometimes there doesn't seem to be one specific thing to point to.

I've spent all day trying to watch things but I've managed only about 3 episodes over about 6 hours because of the sluggish buffering. Other sites (including streaming like Netflix) run fine. Internet's 65 MbPS so I know my tech can handle it. I've tried with the Roku app, Windows 10 app, Android app, and the website through Chrome, Firefox, and Edge. Tried different internet connections including mobile data. I've been a subscriber for maybe a year at this point (plus using it free for a year before that) and it's been a constant battle. I'm at wits end and will likely be cancelling my subscription but there's almost no options to legally view anime short of buying boxsets or paying $1-$2 for a single episode on Amazon--assuming they even have the series I'm looking for.

WHY is the site like this? Are they funneling all their money into advertisements/sponsors but putting nothing into upgrading/fixing their servers to actually HANDLE all their users? Because I see sponsored videos from CR all the time yet they clearly cannot even serve current users, let alone MORE.

I am also having this issue. Tried on Roku, Windows using web player, and PS4. Buffering so often that shows are basically unwatchable. Also seeing this issue on VRV which I believe is part of Crunchyroll. But not on any other streaming video apps.
