I've edited the title and removed or edited some of the posts to emphasize that folks should not name apps that provide access to manga from pirate sources.

I don't read a lot of manga, but here's what I've used:

1) MangaBox - though they don't seem to be adding any new titles and right now there are just two that I continue to read.
2) CR Manga
3) Viz to read WSJ. (I've occasionally purchased manga volumes from them as well)
4) In the past I've used Dark Horse, but now that they make content available for purchase on Amazon I haven't bought much new directly from them in a while.
5) Same with Comixology.

So, these days most of my manga purchases are through Amazon and I read those purchases on both the Kindle app and Comix (formerly Comixology). And most of my subscription based reading is from CR Manga.

I strongly prefer reading manga on a tablet. Every time I've ever tried to read manga on my computer it has been a very clunky irritating experience.

I mostly read on an iPad.

As for aps... I use Comixology if it's a manga I've purchased, Line Webtoon or CR if it's available on either of those places, and otherwise I'll use [app that shall not be named] or just go through Safari.

I sometimes use CR manga from time to time on my computer. I also used Mangabox for Love and Lies. Viz for jump issue on my nook which is so much better then the computer. I also used Splottoon on my computer. I read comics on webtoons. I used the computer mostly on it, sometimes my phone or nook

I only do pirate sites well except for here(crunchyroll) and that's for mysterious girlfriend X only. It's the high seas for me mate-ies.

currently, i use BookLive. they let you preview the first few pages, and you can also buy manga volumes for free!
the catch: you need to collect enough coins. they do offer some manga volumes for free, for a limited time though. managed to get several manga volumes this way.

Tablet is best, phone is next. For some reason I *really* dislike reading anything at length on the laptop.

I use Crunchyroll's manga app, of course. Overdrive to read manga bought through Humble Bundle, or volumes borrowed from my public library's digital collection. LINE Webtoon probably doesn't count as it carries practically no Japanese comics in my country, but I'll mention it anyway.

I just use this site for reading manga, after I get a guest pass I'll read to my heart's content. from time to time I'll use shonen jump where I can read free manga located on their site, don't believe they have an app, but I rarely use an app anyways I prefer still using the laptop.
