We get a lot of tourists, so there's a pretty wide variety of restaurants for just about every nationality of food but they all tend to be overcrowded and overpriced.

There's a little local pub I like in the rough part of town that's usually pretty empty if you go in at the right time. The owners seem to be able to recognize and recall details about everyone that's ever set foot in it, they make the best burgers in town and are about half the price of anywhere else.

I think we have a similiar burger place here. It is so popular yet reasonable. It's either you make reservations (they have a very small place) because the long wait will kill you and i have not attempted such feat. Forget that.

Mm-hmm yes.

On another note, there was a small Chinese restaurant I had tried while out on a short vacation a while ago. You can find it in Island Park, Idaho. REALLY REALLY good.

Island Park, Idaho.....cool. I'm assuming you went camping here. It looks like near Yellowstone park or something. You forgot the name of restaurant though?

Seems like a good place to eat good if you're staying at Yellowstone park. You can never go wrong with Chinese food.

I went to Japan 3 months ago, and there was an amazing hole-in-the-wall place in Shinjuku that seats only 8 people at a time. Their beef was to DIE FOR. Omfg, it literally melts into my mouth and definitely spoiled the hell out of me coming back to America (I still eat steak here, though). F***, what was it called... I'll need to remember. I currently live in Texas, and a hole-in-the-wall that I visit here I guess would be India Palace. Delicious curry, vindaloo chicken/lamb/beef, tikki masala, and they actually make food extremely spicy for me, which many places don't without just ruining the whole flavor.

I'm craving now...

You can if you hit the wrong place. Get so sick that you turn green and grow tentacles. I shouldn't have said tentacles. I shouldn't have said...

Oh wow....that's just awesome. You must tell me where is this jewel of a place in Shinjuku. See, this is what I'm talking about. Good Food with reasonable prices even in Japan. There is also a popular Indian restaurant in my state too but i have yet to go there. Finding parking there is horrible.

Verti Marte, New Orleans. A deli in the back of a tiny grocery store in the French Quarter. One of the best po-boy sandwiches I've ever eaten. Open 24 hours.

More local to me, Z Counter is a little place that does "Asian Fusion" in Corpus Christi, Texas. And it's good and inexpensive. We hit it up often.

There's a Dim Sum place about 15 minutes away. We've been going there for about a decade. The owner is always so nice to us and the food is always spot on. We go every few months

A little cafe in my hometown that serves breakfast and lunch. They have the best eggs benedict I have ever eaten. It's popular with the locals on weekends and the staff recognize and banter with the regulars. They also support the local community and hire a lot of teens to work as wait staff.
