I swear I'm not a defensive fan girl when I say...
Well...yeah, we see cute half-naked boys with amazingly structured bodies, but the anime is actually getting interesting in terms of the story and characters. What? Is that something a defensive fan girl says? Perhaps haha but I'm being honest here. I really liked how in the second episode I started to see the background story revealing itself more. And a huge plus is that I'm really into swimming ...

Fun stuff - definitely worth watching!
The animation in this show is absolutely gorgeous. I love the water and they really capture swimming in general. Likable cast, too. I look forward to new episodes - glad they decided to make this into something. Much as the, ahem, fanservice portion of this makes me laugh, I legitimately think they have a decent storyline going already.

Enough with all this Yaoi b.s
This is a sports anime, no different than any other sports anime in the past. Like most sports anime it is a mostly male cast with your standard female manager. Why people are exclaiming its Yaoi is beyond me. I dont recall screams of "Its Yaoi!" when Kuroko aired. The guys dig that show, yet it has the same amount of bromance as Free. Is it because the dudes in Free! are shirtless? Is that where ...

Amazing in spite of and because of the fanservice
If you like guys, this is your show; if you don't like guys, this is still your show, as the animation is absolutely gorgeous and the story seems to be doing ok. This anime feels very vibrant and optimistic, with friendly rivalry and tarnished childhood friendships being the center of the plot movement. It's not a deep anime, but it's extremely entertaining and has so much eye candy. In short, ...

I can definitely watch MORE of this!
I was wowed by the animation, and the strong personalities of the characters! Someone was complaining about the boys sounding like girls, but don't they use female voice actors for children anyway?? That's what gives them the 'cuteness' for the age they're portraying. There's 3 more hours until the next episode, and I can't WAIT!! >_<

Oh, and if you have Crunchyroll on Apple TV, it looks ...

Don't think it's a yaoi, and if it is, so what?
As everyone here mentions, it's full of fan-service for girls. I thoroughly enjoy it, and think it's a pretty nice relaxing anime. I've heard of many boys who also like it.
But anyway, ladies, if you wish to please both your eyes and ovaries, watch it!

    It's worth watching!
At the beginning it will be slow and it will take a while to get connected with all the characters. Sure, you will hate them sometimes but most of the times your love to them at the very end. The hurt, pain, sadness, and happiness were be there but at the end it will be all worth it. The final result of this series is perfect and it gives you everything you ever wanted. It's worth watching!

    Dat Swimming Anime Tho
This show really took me by surprise. When it first came out, it was mainly just known as that "swimming anime", and I decided to watch it, because it seemed kind of funny. An anime about swimming, seems kind of weird, right?

But, as I started watching it more and more, the story started to pull me in and then I realized I couldn't stop watching it.

The anime may be about swimming, but ...

    Fun and Lovable Characters
    I really do love Free!
The characters are so diverse, and the way in which they develop is great.
It is a beautiful anime in terms of FPS and art quality.

Free! is fun, fast paced, and funny, making you want to keep on watching episode after episode after episode.

It made me laugh, and they are all so lovable, and the friendships are admirable!
Its great to see the males get objectified ...

    A REALISTIC AND GOOD ANIME
Whenever my friends mentioned Free!, I use to turn up my nose of it. I mean, it's just half naked guys swimming right? WRONG.
First, a summary. Haruka (aka Haru), Makoto, Nagisa, and Rin used to be on the same swim team when they were kids. Rin moved to Australia to acheive his dream of becoming an Olympic swimmer. He then comes back to attend Samezuka Academy when the other boys are in their ...
