Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu -- the original Koyoto Ani Rom/Com Parody show.
So many of you probably just finished watching the amazing first season of full metal panic! (and if you didn't then go do it!) and probably are wondering what the hell this show is. I remember when I first came across this show I thought it was 2nd season of FMP, however, I was fairly wrong in that assumption. Fumoffu is basically a companion season of FMP that takes the characters, setting and ...

    <<Full Metal Comedy>>
The premise of the show is simple enough. A military ace of some alphabet soup government/megacorp goes to highschool. He still thinks he is sort of in a war zone and does not realize hes in a relatively peaceful modern nation. Unfortunately, this show suffers from a bunch of female on male violence and main character stupidity, but does have a number of redeeming qualities besides that. If ...

    One of the funiest!!
This is one of the funniest anime out there. The episode layouts, the varied types of humor, the comedic timing, and the characters - everything works well together for a comedy. And... the occasional light dash of romance helps too.

P.S. Super excited for 'Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory!' in Spring 2018 (date of release at time of review)!!

Hilarious side arc to a good series
Loved the characters, the world, and the interactions. This is a light hearted look at the much more serious main series and every episode was a joy. Still waiting and hoping for a continuation of this series (the main series especially), because this is a criminally underrated series that deserves to finish it's story.

Full Metal Panic! Season 1.5, all-humor version
Fumoffu is a special season of Full Metal Panic! chronologically fits between the regular first and second seasons. It's far less serious than those two, filled with much more humor and situational gags. Don't let that put you off, though. It's a great show in its own right, and is certainly well worth watching.

If you watched and enjoyed the first season of Full Metal Panic!, and were ...

  • Watch It! Hopefully you don't regret it, which I doubt you will, but still
Like I said in the review I put for FULL METAL PANIC!, even though it wasn't really a review, I just tried to get people to watch it, which is the same I'm going to do here. Honestly from what I remember FUMOFFU is what got me into FULL METAL PANIC! years ago when i used to watch it when it played on TV, and with the other seasons, FULL METAL PANIC! has been and still is and always be my favorite ...

  • Military Comedic Relief
It came at the best of times. When season 1 got too serious and too drama like, this season popped up out of nowhere and it was wonderful, spectacular, and I was "slapping my knee" with sides splitting most of the time. It's a nice distraction from the hardcore original series.

  • You learn why the bear is important, people!
It's entertaining to see how Sagara's cluelessness, brought to disasterous levels, combined with ridiculous situational comedy turns out. It's almost exhausting to see what Chidori deals with on a daily basis, but it's hard to blame Sagara for being socially awkward (and very dangerous) since he's so earnest. If you enjoyed the original show, Full Metal Panic!, you will like this more ...

  • Still one of my faviroute up till now
Even by today's standard, this show is very funny and very creative.
The style and humor contains in each short story is timeless.
With in each humor, you also see the other side of the character as well. A lot of people might think that this season is not related to the main story at all. That might be true in terms of plot development, but I do think this series does add a lot to the character ...
