Buddyfight - Unexpected Gem for Trading Card Anime
This anime comes from our friends at Bushiroad who also dabbled in the card playing hit, "Cardfight Vanguard" so you should know it's one of the new age anime for this genre.
Gao Mikado is a hyperactive student who goes to Aibo Academy that specializes in preparing the young minds of the future of Buddyfighting tricks, techniques, and more (so it's like "Yu-Gi-Oh GX"). Moving on, he gains his ...

One reason this gets 5 stars
1 reason: The easter eggs in this show are pro. I have seen random Cardfight Vanguard characters randomly thrown in this show in the background, and that makes this amazing. My favorite part, was when I saw Kai in episode 3.
The show is fairly good too. I am hooked right now. Just waiting for the next episode to come out.

Are you ready for a buddyfight?!
Even though this show may not be featured in subbed the dubbing is not bad and is still worth the watch. It is a bit more childish of an anime compared to yu-gi-oh or cardfight (not by much though) but its strong themes and amazing animation shine though its halfway predictable (but still good) plot. The main cast of characters are all super like-able along with a deep and complex game that you to ...

    Surprisingly Good and Interesting
Ran across this show by chance. After few episodes was presently surprised. Animation is solid, Voice acting for English language is very good. Story line is catchy and it will suck you in but one disappointment is Gao always ends up winning and getting his way. Come on this is not Burger King you can't always have it your way. Defiantly recommend the show you will enjoy it. Easy to watch and ...

  • Dubs... need I say more?
I understand some of the episodes are available with subs but that's the problem; ONLY SOME OF THEM. I sure as hell don't want to start at episode 26 to get my subs. Get them subs crunchyroll, this is total lameness. Throw this crap to netflix or amazon, they seem to have a stiffy for dubs.

  • It's for Anyone and Everyone
First off Buddyfight is just super fun to play with it's simple rules and straightforward gameplay
The cartoon itself is made to show how games go along with tips and tricks that one can use when actually playing
This cartoon is aimed at kids obviously but is overall family oriented, you will run into cliches by the dozen but there is depth to the characters and sometimes can show the ...

  • Surprisingly Enjoyable
It took me a couple times to actually watch this anime, considering it was English dub, but i'm glad I did.Normally I wouldn't go to the time to watch a card game anime, and a long one at that but this anime kept me entertained through out the whole anime and I couldn't wait to start the second season. No matter what your age I can say that you will like this. I'm watching this as a high school ...

  • Not the best but it works
Buddyfight is a slow anime starting out but it gets a little more interesting towards the 10th episode or so. I would have to say that if you lid Vanguard then there is a good possibility that you will enjoy this anime as well. It is not the most original of concepts but it keeps attention for the most part.
