A wonderful concept, demons and angels going through adolescent angst.
This is a very well written anime about adolescent angels that act like demons and visa versa. It examines an angel the falls into the depravity of online gaming and a demon in her same class at high school who tries to save her. The angels and demons in their class are more amusing than truly good or evil, and they show it as adolescents would. A representative dialog is when the angel Gabriel ...

A NEET comedy anime, but with spice!
Sure, we have had a lot of NEET anime before, but this one does stand out like a lot of the other good Slice of life NEET anime like, for example, umaru-chan. A lazy NEET who doesn't really seem to care about much else besides doing her basic NEET things, sure she has the second personality of being absolutely perfect on one side, but so far, this show doesn't have two faced characters, because ...

Odd ending and no development for the main character..
I would have liked to see Gabriel gradually tackle her issues instead of the characters accepting her and encouraging this *hilarious* selfish, self-absorbed otaku. It's starting to become a clique with a lot of other animes too.

An example of this clique is when the main character who has these obvious issues are never solved....because apparently, it's too funny and/or lovable? Don't get me ...

Not the best, but certainly not the worst.
I was originally going to miss out on watching Gabriel Dropout, but I decided last minute to go ahead and give it a try, and it's certainly not my favorite.

Gabriel Dropout essentially is a heaven - hell themed high-school SoL / Comedy with some light fan-service. The story follows the story of Gabriel, a high-achieving angel who was sent to Earth to influence humans on following the 'right ...

Heavenly comedy is funny as hell
This show is on the short list of anime comedies that has made me laugh out loud for an extended period of time. It's just funny. This is on the cute side of comedy, so it also definitely has the cuteness factor going for it. So if you are in the mood for some light-hearted anime fare, give this one a try.

    Decent Moe Comedy, not bad
The show is fairly funny and cute. Nothing exceptional, but not bad either.
The Angels/Demons thing isn't wholly mishandled, but it does feel like a bit of a gimmick. It isn't completely tacked on like it would be in many shows, but it doesn't feel totally necessary either.
It isn't a short-form like so many shows getting released this season, but it does play out like one. It basically just ...

Comedy! 100% Gabriel the Gaming Nerd!
At first I thought this was going to be a fanservice anime but I guessed wrong this is a true comedy of Angel and demons as their roles are reversed of being good and bad the main protagonist gabriel the prestigious goody toe shoes angel falls becoming the common Otaku neet trash, without doubt this will hit many Gamers and otakus in the soft spot making you fall for gabriel on her lazy adventure.

    very hilarious & amusing
This is a great cute anime. It was hilarious and I am so excited to finish it. It is a great concept and I love how the characters have all turned out. Can't wait to see where they go with all of the characters and the storyline, but I love all of their personalities!

  • This anime was very enjoyable!
I just seen the whole episodes of Gabriel Dropout thoroughly. Also, Gabriel Dropout was very enjoyable and hilarious! This anime is about Gabriel was sent down to earth where she could even become true angel. Gabriel was become lazy and obsessed with video games. In high school, Gabriel had met Vignette, Satania, & Raphel. The difference is they are angels and demons. I just enjoyed it so far. ...
