Everyone should definitely buy the movies that were made for this series, they were re-released with the old English dub as an extra! they're fantastic, a more refined, highly concentrated GE999, with great animation for the time

There's another special I saw yesterday night on Youtube. There were no subtitles but the animation looks good. It seems to called RAINBOW SIGNS or something like that.

Finally! A complete episodes of the original Galaxy Express 999 that I had longed for the past 30 years. I'm very glad technology catches up allowing this to be available to the masses.

I am so disappointed... I bought the first episode and the subtitles are hard subs... you cannot remove them and when you maximize the windows, they obviously show as a garbled pixelated mess :( The quality of the video is OK though...

I thought that this was just a movie. I'm glad I'm wrong. Yet another series too watch. Wonder if I can convince the boss to let me stream this in the office, sure would beat all the annoying nascar junk that he watches
