This is a good adaptation. Not sure that I am too fond of the fact that the Count seems to be using seduction with Heloise here, but hey. Whatever works.
o man this is overloaded with everything, symbolism, drama, class, intrigue, more than a few naughty parts, and A count that exudes awesome like no other character XD
The terrible song at the beginning makes me giggle every time I hear it. The story is about to get really ugly, but at least it's wrapped in beautiful packaging.
A spectacular adaptation of Dumas' book! Especially because of the absence of all the religious nonsense (so far), that was part of his original story. The changes in some of the relationships, plus the extra one's, makes it even better.
