    An exellence of beauty
    A utopia.

How many people have ever dreamed about our world ever becoming one? It's an idea that stretches beyond dreams and imaginations. In such a world, there would be peace, paradise, and colonies where humanity can settle down and enjoy their lives. Well, those are just all dreams of course. People may fill their heads with these ideas but for the Human Galactic Alliance, it's one that ...

  • Gargantia: Is it worth the watch?
Going into this anime I expected a cool anime with action around every corner and tons of futuristic mecha-fights. While some episodes did indeed have amazingly well made fights; it wasn't as much as I expected. Most episodes in this anime are much calmer than expected, and while that might seem like a big disappointment, it's not. To see the main character, Ledo, (who is basically an alien) try ...

A Fairly Average But Fun Show
Gargantia doesn't really manage to break new ground, but it manages to be a fairly fun show. While the show's two principle characters, Ledo and Chamber, receive plenty of development, much of the cast goes undeveloped. The show's pacing is all over the place. It starts out paced like a 26-episode show before ramping up the pacing up somewhat towards the end. The animation is fairly nice; ...

  • This is worthy to watch!
I have just recently watched this, and all I have to say is that this anime had an amazing story, with beautiful artwork and animation. It keeps you on the edge of your seat with action and drama. I think it could of been a little longer but I cant complain because it was still amazing! GO watch it right now!

  • Possibly my new favorite show
I decided to wait weeks after the show ended to write a review. Even after the ending, I think this is one of my favorite shows. Before I say anything else, the rating is based on my own reaction, not the quality of the show. Someone else may not feel the same. The main reason I like this show is that there seems to be a lot of whimsy in it. The whole show has a feeling of hopefulness that makes ...

  • Gargantia is very interesting and awesome
Gargantia is very interesting. I originally began watching it on a different website (but found better) and enjoyed it to the full extent. The character animations were great, the detail on each character was amazing too. Every week, I looked forward to watching it. Robot and Shoujo are my favorite types of Anime/Manga, and Gargantia fits right in! It wasn't shoujo, but the robotic part was great! ...

  • Enthralling Mecha Anime
I really enjoyed this anime. It got you hooked on the plot and story line from the first ep and made me want the next one to come out. Characters are told in a way that makes you fall in love with them, the way the talk and act, you find yourself liking them more and more.
I really like the way they have designed a new type of mecha. In the mecha animes i have watched, this seems to be of a ...

  • I enjoyed this from beginning to end
I started watching this because I enjoyed Madoka a lot for its themes. I wasn't disappointed.

My boyfriend and I just finished our marathon (we could not stop watching) and I'm already recommending it to my friends. I enjoyed the themes of clashing cultures, ideals, and what constitutes being a human.

Giant Squids + Giant Robots = Awesome
Somehow this show manages to combine space combat, a post-apocalyptic future, giant squids, giant robots AND a heart-warming buddy story of self-discovery. It also has refreshingly creative designs for both the interstellar civilization and its enemies, and also for the waterworld. Beautiful backgrounds and high quality animation. So awesome.

    Very different than expected
So I started watching this expecting a whole lot more of a mecha/action series than I actually got. Not that I'm complaining about that. Visually, this show is certainly nice to look at, and the action scenes that are in it do a good job.

It's just that this is much more a science fiction series than a mecha one. It actually asks some questions about genetic alterations, AI, and the interaction ...
