    anime made for the future
this is an amazing anime so far and has lead me to want to watch more. this anime mixes the future with the past. this anime has what everyone wants from an anime. action, drama, science fiction, comedy, and maybe some romance. what is could you ask for in an anime. not to mention the artwork is fantastic. also the way they put up a language barrier to actually make you feel like your there. this ...

    “Gargantia: An enemy profile”
*Heaving a deep sigh… How disappointing! I was hoping for a seriously dramatic finale, where humanity having to encounter the most evolved life-form on the face of the Earth (Teuthoidea; cephalopods) into a one-on-one battle for supremacy! I suppose, it can’t be helped—after realizing that humanity will not stand a chance; and settles for the most unlikely draw-card called, “Bio-synthesis” in ...

    An impressive first episode
This is one of those rare anime that just a glance at promotional art for the show gave off the impression of something more than your standard anime.

I jumped into the first episode a little skeptical but found that I liked what I saw: just enough back round info to get an idea of what to expect while leaving much to be discovered later.

The Mech CG animation is decent, nothing to write ...

a new adventure to the mecha genre
I'm not a big mecha fan don't get me wrong I've seen a lot of them but this is something new to the mecha genre. Gargantia has beautiful artistic backgrounds that will blow ur mind away but what really made my jaw drop to my feet was the gorgeous animated character's. production I.G never fails to impressed me. It's start of whit are main protagonist ledo that has been fighting all of his life on ...

I knew I liked the anime just by watching the first episode
A year for good animes but also the graphics of the anime are superb. And what a lot of people are not noticing is that this anime can only be played in 720p from what I saw on the tab so I could only imagine how The Sea Milky Way and the fighting scene against the enemies in battle would have looked. I feel like this anime also could tell the many futures humanity could end up in.

    Gargantia, a believable future.
The animation is crisp, the voice acting so far fits the characters. It's going a little slow compared to other anime that I've watched, but I'm rather liking the time being spent to actually tell us the how's and why's of what's going on instead of just jumping in and leaving all kinds of questions. I'm hoping it keeps going and only gets better.

    Finally, a good mech story
Finally, a good mech story. This one touches on politics, space, history, culture, and all that real life stuff in between. This is a serious show with amazing drawing and believable characters. I want more like this in the future.

Yup. Def best new spring title I've seen.
This is pretty cool. I've been pretty disappointed in almost all the spring titles I've seen so far; on and off Crunchy. This is setting up to be a pretty solid series. Character development, plot, and background leave a lot to be unraveled and it looks to have a lot of potential.

    Great Hook! A must watch!
If you are into any kind of sci-fi (even if you are not), this show is a must watch. The character designs and story are top notch. The premise had my brother, a friend, and myself hooked within the first half of the episode and was doubly reinforced in the second half.

The first episode touches on a number of points ranging from self-preservation to self-sacrifice and I really enjoyed how they ...

    Well, this was really unexpected!
After watching a few of the other newly 'released' animes on here...I've been sorely disappointed by most of them. They failed to catch my attention or stand out in anyway. This anime? Good lord! It's THE best First Quarter anime of 2013 to be released so far as it stands above the other April releases (As of the date this was originally posted) by a tremendous amount.

    It's beautifully ...
