  • It's Hard to explain
I watched this whole series in a day, and I'll be honest, I can't explain how much this series has taught me about myself and how much this will influence my decisions and thought in the future. So, if you're reading this before you watch the series, just start watching, cause it'll really hit deep.

  • An amazing creation to watch
This is one of the amazing works that you can find, it shows the culture gaps between the very advanced and the "past" meeting together. He learns more on how to behave properly and they learn to befriend each other as they try to live together in peace. There are some hilarious moments, and some serious moments that challenges one of the character's way of thinking. All in all, a great ...

  • It's great! Short but that might be a better for the story.
Great story that was compressed into only 13ep. The atmosphere really gives the story more depth. I got what I wanted out of this anime. It managed to get a good amount of story in for being short. The animation quality is on par to boot. For everyone saying the story was rushed I just would like to point out that most anime are this short and feel even more rushed with gaping hole but still ...

  • I could nitpick, but frankly I don't want to - this series simply has it all
As other series have demonstrated, mixing genres, trying to be several things at once is not an easy thing to do well. This is especially true for one cour anime, where the producers only have 12 or 13 episodes to work with. The more sides, facets such a show has, the less time can be spent on each, which can easily lead to all of them being subpar. And yet, despite all the looming pitfalls, ...

  • Definitely worth watching
Incredibly interesting set up and story line. The language barrier was a really cool twist. The entire series keeps you interested and wanting more. The only way it could have been better is if it were longer than thirteen episodes and two OVAs. I watched the entire series in one night...

  • please make another season!
Unfortunately a second season would be nearly impossible considering how the first season ended. This show was amazing and i think they did pretty good with the animations. As far as the actual story goes i loved hidiaazu and the antagonizing mystery of who they are and where they come from that drags you along throught the season. The answeres to these questions are simply briliant and are filled ...

  • "Go to hell, tin can!"
I love everything about this anime. It has action, drama, and a little bit of romance thrown into the mix. I can't get enough of it.
I really hope that another season scones put with Chamber back. And new news on Amy and Ledo relationship! I hope that you guys enjoy it like I did.

  • Imaginative, stunning, and full of heart
Combine one part Ghibli film, one dash Mecha anime, a pinch of WaterWorld, and a whole lot of heart. What you get is Gargantia.
This is a beautiful series, with plenty of gorgeous scenery and a rich cast of characters occupying a detailed world. It takes the classic Fish Out of Water narrative, placing a pilot from a space civilization at war with an alien race and dumps him into a sea-faring ...

  • Exciting Envision Of The Future & Great Characters
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet was one of my most loved series of all time, the interesting envision of future life on earth was a great change of scenery from regular sci-fi shows. The characters and plots are developed quickly, and you grow attached too even the unpleasant and cocky ones. Highly recommend, great start and finish.
