  • Watched it all and not a fan
I thought it was really rough in the start but decided to stick with it because so many people said it got better. It didn't get better in my opinion. The entire show's plot was all over the place and didn't make much sense. I watched it all, but still not a fan.

  • Best Mecha Anime I ever watched
Gatchaman CROWDS was the best anime I ever watched in my whole life. Its very silly yet has some dark parts to it as well. I find this anime to be one of those unique anime that doesn't contain too many fighting scenes and focus more on other objectives. I also liked the soundtrack. The OST was one of the thing I looked forward to in the anime when a new episode came out. It makes you excited in ...

  • Think of it as Tumblr: The Anime
It baffles me slightly why this series would choose to call itself "Gatchaman" like the super-campy 80's anime about space superheroes. So if you came to watch this expecting a nostalgic remake along the lines of Sailor Moon Crystal, I recommend you watch--this is a good show, after all--but don't come into it thinking it to be about your favorite Science Ninja Team. And if you avoided this show ...

  • Doesn't live up to the originals.
For fans of Gatchaman, for fans of Gatchaman 2, Gatchaman F, or even their vulgar translations Battle of the Planets, G-Force and Eagle Riders - give this one a miss.

It's a whole new team with a story far too convaluted to be taken seriously, and it all stems around a social media app that has way more power than it ought to.

Oh and you see the guy with the purple hair? SPOILER - Don't ...

  • Mentally opening and joyous.
In the first few episodes, I was hardly interested in this anime at all. However, I decided to give it the chance. Around the fourth episode or so I realized something that you can't within the first few episodes. This anime has a subtle lesson (in my opinion) for, not only the individuals in the anime, but real life. It's all about the perspective of something. We all have different views and ...

pay attention and YOU'LL LOVE THIS SERIES!!!!
Before I say anything this series is the type that sometimes needs to be carefully examined and dissected. I noticed myself rewatching an entire episode just because I lost track with the fast pacing, BUT ITS WORTH IT. A lot of people get confused around episode 4 or 5 but don't just keep going or else you'll start losing your marbles xD Then again as I've continued through the season I've noticed ...

  • You're gonna love it... or hate it!
This is a very quirky and different sort of anime in a lot of ways and nothing like the original Gatchaman series. It's a very fun and off the wall series that does some very funky twists on typical plot lines used in animes. That being said, one of the biggest complaints that reviewers have is that the main character lacks character development.

Hajime is a very polarizing character and very ...

    Entertaining but not Outstanding
I wasn't quite sure what to expect with Gatchman Crowds. The main character could be a little grating with how optimistic and constantly upbeat she is. The overall story was interesting. I liked how they incorporated social media into the story in a fairly plausible way. It would have been nice to get a little more character development from the side characters, but since there are only 12 eps ...

    I really had to stop
I really couldn't get into this one. The art work and story line was getting good but the girl started to annoy me. So I had stopped watching after the 3 episode because of her. It just bugs me that someone new that comes into a situation already knows more then anyone else that had been there before them. There wasn't much of a transition for the girl as she had joined the team.

    Stands out from the CROWDs
I tried this anime after seeing it on an "underrated" list for 2013. I have to agree- there is a lot more going on with Gatchaman Crowds than your typical action/comedy anime.

It's all about challenging & subverting conventions in good ways. The art style does it, the re-imagining of the Gatchaman concept does it, the character interactions do it, the plot is about it. The music isn't too ...
