    First impression: Very intriguing
This anime so far looks very intriguing. The art is absolutely amazing. Based off the plot its presented so far, this could turn out really good. I'll see where this anime takes me as the show progresses.

    Weird but look promising
First episode might be confusing but the show look like very lively. The art is excellent except for the gatchaman think i feel like its too much for my taste. The character having very unique personality but need to see next episode before judging this anime. About the plot the first episode only described a brief explanation of the story they don't go to deep. Does it worth watching ? Maybe, ...

    Pretty cheesy! not for me.
It's been a long time since i couldn't get through a single episode. I love mecha but this is really cheesy childish stuff. I rarely say this, but this is really a kids show it seems. If you like 70's 80's anime well this sure has that old feel to it. I'm 29 and personally don't like that old feel. I'm gonna try and watch it again later, but once i saw the mecha design i was pretty much over ...

Just depends if its your kinda thing!
Since it's still just starting I think a few people might be a bit hesitant to it because of it's unusual style. But honestly if you like quirky, visually attractive anime like this it's your thing no doubt. If i had to compare it 'art-wise' to anything it might be Gurren Lagann. It has a colorful cast of characters like GL as well. The story looks like it has hope too. So i'm looking forward to ...

    Strange yet pretty entertaining
This show started out hard to follow at first but as the episode progressed it made enough sense to keep me watching, it feels like bakemonogatari got together with tiger & bunny to birth a strange yet fun show, the transformed versions of each character are top notch, I usually hate 3D in anime but this isn't half bad!
The heroine is sort of...really weird, but I found I like her by the end ...

I Can Only Hope the Story-line Goes Somewhere
You ever watch an anime that comes at you from all directions and then still leaves you questioning what might just happen next? This is exactly that anime.

It's got the feel of one of those old time animes from way back when but the look of the new era.

    "Gatcha, Gatcha, Gatcha, Gatchaman"

It's like seeing the past in the future. I don't quite get it myself.

    The ...

I can't explain it. Just watch.
I'm not sure why I chose to watch this. Only the first episode is out, and hope it doesn't fall off the rails. It has a mixture of cuteness and mystery that works really well so far. Can't wait until next week.

    I love the animation style
Its really great, I've never watched the old Gatchaman series so this is just someone coming in without all the nostalgia. I really enjoy the main character so far, the animation quality is really great and I love the music.

Tatsunoko Productions has lost the last dregs of my respect.
While I suppose this has the possibility of not ending up as sucktastic of an anime as it currently appears, that would not in any way help to recover my current opinion of Tatsunoko Productions. Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman was groundbreaking in its time, and still stands up surprisingly well today, given that it's over 40 years old. I would have loved to see a serious modern re-imagining of the ...

    Give it a chance guys
All right everyone....quit yer griping. It's only the first episode....

I am a huge gatchaman fan (as both G-force and Battle of the Planets) and I see this as a spiritual successor that does not need to be 100% faithful (or even faithful at all beyond the broadest of plot lines - defending earth from aliens).

I enjoyed the echoes of the original (Mark and Jason are fully present) and I ...
