  • A Good Job GJ CLUB! :D
Besides my horrible pun, the show GJ CLUB is a harem anime about a boy named Kyoto. The characters all have there very static specific personality (like most harem anime's) thats when the show can get kind of boring or unoriginal is the static characters. Also If you are expecting a good or a storyline in general steer clear this is a comedy anime with just situational comedy 0 story or plot. the ...

    Wonderful, an instant classic!
I don't give out 5 star reviews very easily, not even for series I like or even some of my favorite series. GJ-bu was a huge surprise for me considering how late I got into this anime. Suffice to say, if you like slice of life and/or comedy this show is a must watch. Interesting, unique plots, wonderful characters with great voice acting, and spot-on comedy are only some of the great points of ...

    Cute, Relaxing, and Mildly Funny
Let's keep this short and sweet. GJ Club is a member of the "bunch of high school kids hang out in a made up club doing whatever they want with no real plot" genre. It's very mellow and low-key. The feel is all moe, no ecchi at all, which is almost novel in an of itself.

While it's a great show to unwind to while getting warm fuzzies watching the innocent antics, it's not exceptionally funny, ...

    This one is spectacular.
I've heard about this show from a friend, and she told me it was a bit more "sane", but similar anime from Setokai no Ichizon. As soon as i watched the first episode, i was hooked. I really love the characters of this show. Looking forward to the rest of this club.

Call Me Back When There's A Plotline
While I found the style of art in this series very well done, and I got to know the characters fairly well from the first few episodes, I found the lack of a coherent plot to go from being "this is nice character development" to "okay, I'm bored now, where's the story?" If there's one that someone can really sort out, I hope they'll let me know, but until that happens, it's just pretty artwork, ...

    Can't get enough Super Funny!!!
Love the characters and their personas a lot more care free anime than most i seen. The short skits keep me interested take a look its definitely worth the time. Poor Kyoro has his hand full with some many women in his life.

    Extremely lethargic After School Club
GJ Club is a slice of life anime, a very very thin slice of life. The opening episode has no hook or apparent story at all. Just a bunch of very average students in a club room doing their separate things. Very average translates into typical archetypes following their preprogrammed scripts. A lone male and four females gives this series the ubiquitous harem feel all too common in anime. The male ...

A club about hair brushing, apparently.
I can't believe I wrote a review as stupid as this. I went back to re-read it, and I think I was right to get "Not Helpful" for a change. I think I have to go back and find out how out of it I was the day I wrote this.

The other reviews don't lie. The fact that people often claim that GJ Club is a show about hair brushing comes at no surprise, given that it there is a great deal of ...

A weak harem show that has some funny moments. *UPDATED*
I've only watched the first four episodes so far, but since there were no reviews and the comments were ambiguous, I thought I would give it a shot.

*Update: I've watched 10 episodes now. Pretty much my entire review still stands. I'm baffled as to why another reviewer gave 5 stars to series they call mediocre, just because they liked one aspect of it. Overall, Azumanga Daioh did it ...
