A really good, new fantasy anime
We really enjoyed the characters and how fantasy-like it does feel from start to finish. The Main characters were enjoyable, especially the "flying lizard" voiced by the tsundere queen. First reaction was "happy"!. Definitely like where it is heading and can't wait to see the rest of the journey in future episodes.

A grand fantasy from the video game Granblue Fantasy, the series will be delayed until mid-April
This is a very well done high fantasy adventure with knights and dragons, and wizards; it is set in a realm of magic and steampunk. Apparently, humanity and the other races (we see elves [Harvin] in the intro to the next episode) live on "islands" floating in the air. The animation is excellent, and the characters are likable, though undeveloped thus far. The music is excellent, also. It is the ...

    CAN'T WAIT FOR MORE!
Love the story, we need more adventure based anime.
Animation is nostalgic, reminds me of the good old days of high fantasy anime films.
Any anime with dragons is always going to have that cool factor especially if they are utilized as weapons(Allies & Foes alike).
They are really hitting the mark with these video game to anime lately.
    Keep it up Japan.

Good story, amazing animation. But too soon to give it 5 stars.
The show reminds me of many great animes, with a story reminiscent of One piece and Secret of Cerulean Sand and animation like God eater . yet the reason i give it 4 out of 5 stars is because the beginning reminds me of the beginning of Cerberus (for those who haven't seen it, it has an amazing first episode but the rest of the series turns worse and worse with no ...

    Great first two episodes
I just hope it continues, I read that the anime was delayed until April which makes sense as I think that's what the little bit at the end of the second episode was saying. The characters were all very well done, and I thought the animation looked great I have high hopes for some good fighting and battle scenes. I'll wait another year for more episodes just make it good please.

    Ever play a console RPG?
2 episodes in, and before I did any research I already knew that this anime was based on an RPG, because it has RPG storytelling. While I do enjoy a good RPG, it does have an odd flow to it when it's being played out in anime form. It also hits a lot of the cliches you'd expect from a fantasy RPG. It's not that it's bad-I am sure I'll keep watching, but there's just nothing here that was ...

After 2 episodes 2 thumbs up
I knew by the title alone that this is an RPG game adaptation but the game is not a console game but for iphone, android and google chrome. They will most likely make a console games after the series is done.

But when I watched the anime adaptation I knew the art looked very familiar and its the same art director in some of the Final Fantasy games , Very good animation, the world looked ...

For fans of classic fantasy anime...
...and the video game I guess.

Granblue Fantasy is based of the mobile rpg of the same name, and incidentally the manga adaptation. It follows the classic fantasy-rpg setup of boy meets mystical girl and defends her from the kingdom that's hunting them. The plot is rather generic, but you're not here for the plot.

Let me just say, we haven't seen art and animation like this in years (maybe ...

Very well started! Give a chance
Though only two episodes are out at the moment, they were surprisingly captivating. The scenes and way the "magic" or "skills" , if you prefer either term, are very well incorporated into the show. The art style is a bit more drawing like which I absolutely love considering it is something different and very well done. If you enjoy this I highly recommend the series "Grimgar of Fantasy and ash" ...
