"Ashiya Mizuki is a Japanese girl living in the United States. One day, she sees Sano Izumi compete in a high jump competition on TV and Sano immediately becomes her idol. However as time passes, Sano stops high jumping. Ashiya decides to travel to Japan so that she can attend the same school as Sano and convince him to high jump again. However, Sano attends an all-boys school so Ashiya must look and act like a male student."


Mizuki Ashiya:
Mizuki traveled all the way from the U.S. to Japan just to meet her idol, Izumi Sano. She attends the same school as him, which is a boy's school, but she's determined to stay by Sano's side. Only a few people know her secret.


Izumi Sano:
Sano was a high jumper, but he quit when he got into an accident. Mizuki helps him to get back to high jumping. At first, he doesn't like Mizuki, but when he learns she is a girl, he starts to fall in love with her. Even though they live in the same room together, he helps to keep her secret.


Shuichi Nakastu:
Nakatsu loves soccer, and he also loves Mizuki. He doesn't know that Mizuki is actually a female, but he has strong feelings towards her. At first, he was embarrassed by his love for a boy, but he overcomes his embarrassment and actually admits that he likes Mizuki.


Shin Sano:
Shin is Izumi's younger brother. He is also taking up high jumping, but he is being trained by his father. He is very confident and picky about his food, but he really loves his brother, although he tries not to show it. Shin also starts to have feelings for Mizuki.


Hokuto Umeda:
Umeda is the school doctor. He is the second person that figures out that Mizuki is actually a female (Sano is the first). He keeps Mizuki's secret and helps her out, even though he doesn't always want to.


Minami Nanba:
Nanba is the R.A. (Residence Advisor), so he is in charge of Mizuki and Sano's dorm. He is an upperclassman, and he is 1 year older than Mizuki and Sano. He is the nephew of Dr. Umeda.


Taiki Kayashima:
Kayashima shares a room with Nakatsu. Most people are afraid of him because he can sense and see ghosts, but he can also see auras. He didn't trust people since his "friend" tricked him long ago, but after he met Nakatsu, he started to open up.


Senri Nakao:
Nakao is a boy who isn't afraid to show how he feels. He is in love with Nanba, even though they are both guys. At first, Nakao doesn't like Mizuki because he thinks that she is trying to get close to Nanba. But they later become good friends.


Yujiro:
Yujiro is a dog that Sano rescued from the pound. He only likes girls (with the exception of Sano, of course), so he immediately liked Mizuki. He likes taking walks with Sano and Mizuki.


Rio Umeda:
Rio is Dr. Umeda's younger sister. She is also Nanba's aunt, even though she's younger than he is. She instantly becomes friends with Mizuki.

Shinji Noe:
Noe is one of Mizuki's friends. He mostly hangs out with Sekime, and they usually go "girl-hunting". He is not too fond of ghosts so he always covers his ears whenever Kayashima has a scary story to tell.


Kyogo Sekime:
Sekime is the track team's captain. He and Noe are really good friends, and they like to look for girls during tournaments.


Gilbert:
Gilbert, or Gil, is one of Mizuki's good friends from America. He helped her when she ran away from home by giving her a place to stay and food to eat. He is considered as Mizuki's first love, but he didn't get her first kiss.


Julia:
Julia is Mizuki's best friend from America. When she first me Sano, she suspected that he knew Mizuki was actually a girl. She put the pieces of the puzzle together and realized that Sano was keeping it a secret. She and Nakatsu are not very fond of each other. Especially since Nakatsu thinks that Julia is Mizuki's girlfriend.
