So, as a suggestion by XinVein, I'll be reading up on the novel to figure out my most favored character.

kyoutu 6132 cr points Message: 20 / England Offline	Posted 10/2/12 Reply Quote Hmm, obviouly kirito has to be one of my favourites, that crazy look in his eye, that manic scream when he attacks, always leaving the show on a bad ass note! Asuna got on my nerves the past few episode, being too whiney and not the strong female protagonist that she has been made out to be throughout the series so far, is she breaking down? Is living in SAO getting too much for her? Looking forward to see where this will leade and im hoping it wont be as linear as I suspect.

Meh' hopefully I'll get used to it. " I cant say I didn't expect this, being read the novel but I think Kirito's new hairstyle and ears were what turned me off from ALO. Don't get me wrong, the arc is going to be excellent. At least they didn't go overboard with the spiky hair that he had on the novel, this looks tolerable.

Personally i just see it as character development, we're seeing another side of Asuna off the battlefield. Remember that episode A Crime within the Walls where at the end they talk about loving every side of ur partner? Well thats just my opinion anyway theres more to people than just the fights some animes dont always show that

It's just weve seen this type of female character 4344354 times in animes, was seriously hoping Asuna was going to be different.

Raktus 12600 cr points Message: 29 / M / SC< USA Offline	Posted 10/21/12 Reply Quote I have the same feeling for this as I did with Tower of Druaga... that they had an opprotunity to take it slow and develop the world but instead chose to time skip and only show the most meaningful and action filled bits. I mean, I would have loved more time of Asuna and Kirito encountering one another before they hit it off, or what Kirito does once rumors start to spread that hes a beater. All in all though, I am really enjoying the show... although I will admit that with the dark turn the last couple of episodes have made, I did have to wiki a characters story to ensure that the knife twisting in my gut would only do so for so long... Now I just have to hope the busty blonde doesn't become a forced replacement for my Asuna!
