"Alright everyone, move out," Vyse said and the group followed closely. Wolf scanned his skill list as they walked to their destination point. "<<Two handed weapon>>, <<Unarmed Combat>>, <<Howling>>, <<Detection>>, and last but not least, <<battle healing>>," Wolf thought to himself. It was a decent list of skills and Wolf needed to level up a lot so he could expand that list.

He gripped the sword that was placed on his back as the cave went into view. Making use of his detection skill, Wolf scouted the area for monsters. "There are a few monsters to our left," Wolf said. "Two things though." Wolf paused briefly as he placed his weapon in both hands. "One, that could possibly mean the entrance is over there which is a good thing." The mountain of rock ahead of them showed no available openings. "And two. Since we're only on floor 5, even my detection won't recognize a few of the higher level monsters on this floor. So we should still be very cautious."

Nick took his sword out of the sheath and used his detection
skill to try and reveal sneak attacks.
Nothing came up, altough his skill was high, some monsters eluded him,
making sure he double checked all movements the group pressed on.

They decided to take of the cave system of this floor first because they
thought the key could be found there.

When we find it we will clear this floor, but we need to be carefull... Nick thought to himself.

Inside the cave's only darkness welcomed them.

So now what do we do? He thought, not voicing his concerns, this is the perfect place for an ambush...
He gripped the the hilt of his sword and kept it close and ready to attack at any time.

For the night, Asuna went to an outpost and rested there. She was used to moving along in a solitary manner so it didn't bother her that she was alone for tonight. She thought about how it would be nice to be with other comrades, but that was an opportunity saved for boss fights. Thanks to the last fight perhaps she became a little bit more well known. Asuna did not care about fame or glory, she just cared about surviving and getting out of SAO. While being trapped in SAO was a curse, at the same time it was an odd blessing. In this world she was able to become a much stronger person than she was back in reality. She learned how to rely on her instincts and work herself to her limits in order to achieve her goals.

Once she woke up, she immediately set foot to even more of the combat zone. Just the other day she faced against more baby dragons and a centaur. It was amazing seeing a centaur in this world because centaurs were only describe in fork lore. Asuna was also able to level up as well. Every time she achieved a new level, her passionate fighting spirit renewed even more.

Eventually she was able to make it to the lower stratum and came upon a mossy swamp region. The area was damp and moist and there was some mist in the way. She would have to rely on her non combat skills to get through this area. Suddenly her ears pick up some noise and she immediately turns to that direction. Through the mist, 2 Hylek frogs appeared before her. They were huge frogs that stood on two legs and were armored. In their hands they each held a spear that looked especially pointy. The frogs croaked out loud as a battle cry and charged forth at Asuna.

The faster frog was able to reach to Asuna first and had its spear pointed directly at her. Asuna held her stance ready and was able to parry off the lance's attack and dealt several linear strikes at the frog afterwards. That frog was thrown back to the swampy waters and so the other frog went towards her. The next frog swung its spear directly towards her head. Asuna ducked down to avoid the swipe and launched herself forward with a rapier thrust towards the frog's open mid section unprotected by armor. From behind, the first frog was able to thrust its spear at her. Asuna was barely able to react in time to get out of the way from a complete direct hit, but her shoulder got slashed at the side. Her health lowered by 5% which didn't make her too worried.

The two frogs were now working together by consistently taking turns to attack her. Asuna was able to parry off the spears but saw that the frog's teamwork was preventing her from attacking them directly head on. Another 10% of her HP was taken out. She then does a backwards sprint to get some distance away from them. Afterwards she sprints forward and before the spears could get within her area of range, she uses her high acrobatics skill to jump up and end up right behind them. Taking advantage of the time it took for the frogs to realize she was behind them, she was able to eliminate one of them with continuous thrusts.

The frog left was able to send an offensive strike with its spear, making Asuna jump back to have distance between them. One more strike was all was needed to take out that last frog. The frog right now was being defensive and using its spear to make sure Asuna stay away from it. Asuna had an idea and decided to enact on it. She charges directly at the frog and was of course met by its spear. She holds her rapier in a perpendicular manner and was able to push the spear to the side. She continues going towards closer to the frog while her rapier was still scrapping against the spear to keep it away from her. In less than a second, she sends one final strike to the frog and it is eliminated.

After that small fight was over, she took a few seconds to catch her breath. Then she saw a new message from Aincrad and opened it. Apparently in order to access the boss room, one had to get a special item called the Blue Key of Water. Asuna was sure that the other front liners were probably rushing to find this item and storm the boss room.

Black followed the group. There was not much else to do. They had come up to a cave that they all hopped carried the Blue Key of Water and so they went in not quite knowing what to expect. Following the group he looked around, his detection skill was quite good so he was fairly confident that he could detect something coming but still was cautious of only for the sake of the rest of the group. They walked along and the noise they made as they walked in the caves seemed like a herd of buffalo trampling along. He was unsure when he had become so sensitive to noise... it was like his skills were not only affecting his combat skills, but his senses as well. He walked alone and seemed to feel the air around him as he moved; he felt the ground under his feet like he was walking bare foot. It was impossible; he was in a video game. There was no way that that it could be happening, and yet it was. Even the spear that he walked with felt like an extension of his arm.

As suddenly as the feeling came it was gone. The noise returned to normal and again he felt awkward walking with his new weapon. Slightly amazed but yet shaken it took him a while to notice they had walked through the caves and had come upon a small river that wound through a clearing. There was a cave entrance at the other side that led somewhere, he had no clue where but it looked even darker then the last. In the center of the clearing there was a dragon. This did not look like a normal dragon though. It was blue and was larger than the baby dragons he had seen before. As his vision slid down to the feet of this almost teenager dragon he saw miniature minotaur’s. He had no idea what they were doing here, there had been no record of them ever being seen before and then he had a thought. Maybe that was because they guarded the key, or at least knew where to get it. The Minotaur’s held swords, axes, and maces. He counted them, there was twenty of them, plus the dragon, and these Minotaur’s were a higher level than the usual stuff around here. That probably meant they were smarter, or at least tougher. Stopping he waited for the group to fall in behind him as they looked at the group. It was to late to hide, and there was nowhere to hide anyway. All eyes from the AI enemies turned to the group and the dragon simply ignored them. It made no move nor did its minions almost dismissing them, or simply waiting for them to make the first move. Guess they would need to attack. He hated attacking and so waited for someone to come up with a brilliant plan.

The group had entered the caves and were now feeling their way through the dark. The air was thick with the smell of moss, and the floor was slick in some patches. The only sounds they heard for a while was their footsteps and the occasional drip of water or a small river echoing through the dark passages. Soon enough, the group had come across a large cavern. A small river ran through the opening, and eventually dropped into a small hole in the other side of the cave. Black had been the first to notice that they weren't alone in the cavern. In the center lay a dragon, perched on a pile of rocks. It's brilliant blue scales reflected what little light there was in the opening. Scattered around the dragon were a number of Minotaurs, all appeared to be standing guard around the dragon. Compared to the dragon, they were small enemies, but their numbers made up for their small stature.

As the group came to a stop in the cavern, all eyes turned to them and dread filled Vyse. The enemies however, dismissed their presence and turned back to the dragon. A wave of relief swept over Vyse, and he relaxed, if only a little. Quietly, he tried to come up with a plan of attack. As he thought, he paced back and forth slowly, each step producing far more noise than he liked. He made a list of everything they had at their disposal. "We have 7 players, including me. Only one has a shield.. We only have one real tank, but we have a large offensive force.. Yuuki has Olive, but i don't think the little lizard will be much help.. "

He continued to pace and think, until he broke the silence by asking, "Do any of you have torches and flint? I think I have a plan. And if anyone has any spare shields, we'll need those too." The plan was risky, but if they had the resources, they could pull it off.

Wolf and the group traveled through the cave at a rather fast pace. Wolf kept his <<detection>> skill up all the while until they eventually came across a clearing. It was the most beautiful sight Wolf has ever seen. The group, placed uphill, had the perfect view of the valley type location. All around them, mountain sides that extended halfway to heaven made the shape of almost a perfect circle revealing the sky as well. A single river connected from their location to a small opening on the other side. Patches of trees filled most of the land except for the top left section which was filled with monsters. A rather small dragon, yet bigger than Wolf, appeared relaxed on its belly while an elite army of minotaurs awaited their arrival. "I can't feel their presence," Wolf calmly stated although he was frightened inside. "This isn't going to be easy."

A million possibilities opened up in Wolf's mind as he thought up a battle strategy. Very quickly, most of his ideas were eliminated just from the thought of the enemy's high level. These monsters weren't even registered for this floor, Wolf knew his options were limited.

Wolf shivered at the thought that his <<howl>> is going to be rendered useless against these formidable opponents. They could possibly die in this situation but at the same time, defeating all of these monsters would mean leveling fast.

Vyse was quick to make the first proposal but Wolf countered his risky idea with something a lot easier providing almost absolute victory.
"The river," Wolf said making an obvious observation. "That's how we win this battle."

Nothing, the detection skill doesn't register them... is that the party to guard the key?
This will be dangerous. Nick thought. Someone can die if we're not careful.

"Do any of you have torches and flint? I think I have a plan. And if anyone has any spare shields, we'll need those too." Vyse said, but wolf was fast to counter his idea "The river," that's how we win this battle." He said.

Care to explain? Nick asked while taking out his sword, in case the minotaurs started attacking, there was no way in knowing what the AI would do in this world, especially at this level.

While walking through the cave their group finally came across a large clearing with a blue dragon with a large group of minotaurs around it. As the group approached the minotaurs the didn't really care about the group and turned the attention away back to the dragon. "I wish there were healers in this game" Amon thought as he looked onto the monsters below. "We could have easily played this out like a normal mmo but seeing there was no one to heal I guess we will have to try something else. Can't tank and spank here." Amon chuckled to himself. Vyse had an idea that involved torches but Wolf interrupted him with an idea that involved the river. Amon was glad that wolf was in their group. He was the closest thing they had to an actual strategist and he did was not shy about voicing those ideas.

Slightly frustrated with his teammates lack of support, Vyse continued to concoct a plan. Wolf had mentioned the river, and Vyse had already accounted for the advantages the river held. As he thought, he began to draw a rough map in the dirt. When he was happy with the crude portrayal of the clearing below, he turned his attention to the group and announced his plan.

"This is more or less what we're dealing with in terms of terrain. The point marked at 'a' is a small forest, and point 'c' is a natural pocket formed by the rivers curve. What I suggest we do is send a small group of 2 or 3 players to point 'b' and use them to draw the minotaurs away from the dragon. While the small group do this, the rest of the group will be hiding in the forest. Once the minotaurs are close enough, the larger group can rush the minotaurs from the side, Forcing them into the pocket of the river and flanking them at the same time." He paused for a moment and let the plan sink in before continuing.
"The dragon on the other hand, will be a harder task. I don't think it will attack until the minotaurs are dealt with, or at least until most of them are destroyed. I thought about using a Phalanx formation here to counter the dragons fire, which will be its biggest strength."

He looked up from his map and saw a confused look or two among his comrades. "Oh, the Phalanx formation is the use of a line of shields to provide cover for a party or platoon." he explained. "By locking your shields together, you spread the damage out evenly, and also create a wall of cover for your comrades. If we have a few players defend, the rest can use the shields as cover from the fire and attack."

With his explanation over, he left the plan open for discussion among his fellow players. Like he said, his plan was a little risky, but it was the only option he could see when they were so outnumbered.

They needed more fire power. Wolf sent a message to Asuna revealing their location. "Biri biri, we found something interesting. We might just need your help. Come quickly," the message read. Taking a look at Vyse's drawing, Wolf decided he wanted to be a part of the Pressure team. Although he had his doubts about the plan, he decided to go with it anyways.

"Once we go down there, there's no going back," Wolf's speech began. "This may only be the fifth floor, but taking it easy WILL get you killed. No one dies here today. Not under my watch. There's a lot of things I want to say right now but they would just be pointless. Fight with everything you got." Wolf has played many tactical games before SAO. He knew that even when things look down, anything can be turned around. "Never doubt yourself. Because if you don't have faith in yourself, who will?"

Wolf stood up, now facing the field at hand. "I believe in you guys. I believe in your strength."

Wolf turned to face the group, revealing his golden eyes. "Just remember, there are NO LIMITS." And with that mysterious outro, Wolf turned back to face the field, not saying another word.

"I like the plan Vyse but there are 2 problems with it." Amon explained. "One... We only have one shield and two... A wooden shield is not going to hold up against fire." Waiting a moment for it to sink in Amon also asked, "Who here has a high enough detection skill to figure out how much health those things have? I have just now gotten me shield and it will take a while to get used to it especially since I am wielding it without a sword. There are plenty of shield skills designated to do damage and not having a sword will also help me a lot more with being more sturdy against attacks."

Black had listened to their thoughts and thought that their ideas were taking an interesting turn. He didn't quite like assuming the dragon wouldn't attack because making assumptions like that got people killed. The points that AMON had brought up were exactly right, they only had a couple shield and no one was really feeling confident with them. Not to mention the skill of doing damage with a shield were higher level and no one here and any ability to do more than stun. Although effective you couldn't defeat an opponent like that let alone ones of this level.

"What if we send one shield user to at least be near the dragon in case it does attack? I don't like just leaving it there to kill us all when it pleases. So instead of sending everyone against the Minotaur why don't we send half to the dragon and half to the enemy group? If we keep our heads and communicate then we can move players around as needed so we at least keep both busy. If even one player is actually working to kill things and the rest concentrate exclusively on delaying tactics then eventually we can weaken everything and get out of here. This battle will not lighting quick, I think we need to be prepared for that."

Vyse's plan was growing with the help of the group, and everyone had pitched in ideas and covered the flaws in his ideas. The greatest problems were their lack of man power, and the threat of the dragon. Quietly, Vyse sought a solution. "If we send some of the stronger players to the dragon, they may be able to hold it off long enough for us to wear down the minotaurs.." he thought. "We will need everyone to be on the offensive with the minotaurs seeing as we don't know their capabilities.. "

Finally, Vyse spoke up, "what if we use a few people from the larger group to break off from the minotaurs battle when the dragon stirs. That way we could have a full offensive force to break apart the minotaurs numbers, and still be covered when the dragon attacks."

Everyone was proving to have helpful inputs on the situation, and Yuuki watched as they all talked among themselves. Olive was nowhere to be seen, and Yuuki didn't really care; it could fend itself for the time being. Two oppositions were brought up, not having enough shields and that they would obviously not hold up. It was true, but they had to work with whatever they were given, no matter what it was. Placing a hand thoughtfully on her chin, Yuuki tried thinking of an alternative. Her thoughts were cut when Vyse spoke once more.

"What if we use a few people from the larger group to break off from the minotaurs battle when the dragon stirs. That way we could have a full offensive force to break apart the minotaurs numbers, and still be covered when the dragon attacks."

The crimson eyed girl piped up, thinking about it for a minute. She cringed at the image of hurting another dragon, even if it was savage. But now was not the time to let careless emotions get in her way. It was time to stand strong; to be confident, not to feel remorse.

"I'll help attack the dragon." She said confidently, waiting for others to agree to help as well.

"Great idea, just make sure that people are watching for when they would need to switch. Since I am a spear user for now, so I will go in the initial wave to attack the Minotaur’s. Who will join me? It will be fun."

A silly grin spread across Blacknife's face as he remembered the feeling he had just had. He almost didn't want to see what his face looked like right now, because he might have had a wicked smile on his face, but damn it he could just not resist.
