It was time to strike and Wolf was ready to own this little gang of minotaurs. He knew how battle worked and Wolf never planned on really using Mizuko as bait. He would never put someone else's life in danger, he just needed to test something out really quickly.

Vyse shot a quick glance at Wolf that spoke a thousand words. With a quick nod, Wolf began. "This battle is not going to be easy," Wolf started but ended abruptly. The silence filled the room as seconds, that felt like minutes, passed. "Is NOT what I'm going say. This battle is going to be cake. And I LOVE cake. But it doesn't take one ingredient to make a cake. Look around you. We're not alone. This is not just YOUR battle. This is OURS. And we have this in the bag. It doesn't matter if there are 20 of them, or 200 of them, we will still destroy every last one without a casualty." With the urge to howl in the back of his throat, Wolf calmed the sensation and replaced it with a calm and firm voice. "I'm going out there. And I'm going to give it my all. And I have no doubt in my heart, that you guys will too." Wolf turned around and began walking whether or not they were behind him. Because if you can't believe in yourself, who can?

They took caution with each step even though the minotaurs took no heed to them. The small dirt hill soon came to level and the players used every bit of care not to get noticed too early. Wolf listened to the sounds around him. "The echo in this place is tremendous." The thought hit Wolf hard as he realized how much potential he has in this arena. This was his battlefield.

Wolf took refugee in the closest tree to the clearing and watched as Mizuko took a couple steps out. Wolf waited as the other players took their positions. In order for this to work, the players will need to flank the minotaurs at the prime location in order to get them into the river.

Once everyone got into place, and before Mizuko could do anything, Wolf took in a deep breath. "Time to test out the acoustics in here."

Noticing the glance at Wolf, Black sighed a little. Wolf's speeches sometimes had a tendancy to be lone and pretty cheesy. Not to mention for some reason every time Wolf gave one of his speeches he felt like he was marching to his death. On that note Wolf started.
Wolf started talking about cake and the only thing Black could think of afterwards wass that cake was a lie and a really bad idea for an analogy in a group of video gamers.

At the end he smiled, probably it being more forced then he had wanted. Well that could have gone… worse he thought. Then he turned and starting working his way down the field slowly. He was pretty stealthy and so going first he might get a little closer before all hell broke loose, he just had to try not to be too stealthy. As the group started to move and split up he moved towards the dragon, trying to always stay between it and the group. Just as Wolf got into position he let loose a loud ‹‹Howl›› and everything started moving. He got low to the ground, the spear in a guard position. Just as everything starting going he thought about how small the point of the blade was compared to the dragon he had a small joke come to mind.

“We are going to need a bigger boat for this cake” he said as he watched everything set in motion.

Oh why couldn't life be simpler?

Speeches were never really Amon's thing. Usually they just made him more depressed than anything, Amon was usually a pretty chill guy until things got serious but in the middle of the things, a calming influence usually just made him sad. If things were serious why not just leave them serious? In a football game do you see people trying to calm each other? No. You see them ramming heads together to amp each other up. The only things Wolf did to help him was the howl at the very end of the speech.

Looking around Amon thought to himself "Was Wolf referencing a meme?" Also he was thinking "I'm more of a pie man myself too." Amon felt kind of bad for not buying a one-handed weapon before he went leveling although in his defense he really didn't think he was going to go tank a giant dragon either. "At least I had leveled up my unarmed combat a little bit. I could be like Captain America." Amon chuckled to himself. "Team 3 are you ready? Because I am tired of waiting!" Amon forcefully shouted. Amon didn't really have the best sneaking in the group so he just kinda walked down with the group, while everybody else was trying to be all stealthy. He was also near the front so that didn't help either. With one last look at his shield Amon, he and the rest of his team had arrived at the dragon.

AS everyone walked down the Minotaur’s turned and looked at the approaching players. They just stood there watching as they approached. Black was uncertain on what was going to happen but he was getting really bad vibes. Then it seemed like as the last person walked past a line in the ground everything happened at once. The dragon got up and lifted it's head. Then spewing a wall of flame the dragon made a semi circle around the group cutting off any escape with a raging blue flame. It then just watched as all the Minotaur’s ran towards them, two going for every player except it looked like three were headed for Amon. Guess that is what you get for not sneaking he thought as then ran towards him and he got ready to block.

"Nope. No questions at all." Mizuko said confidently when Wolf was finished with the plan. The plan was really simple. First, she was suppose to catch the attention of the minotaurs by looking fragile and make them irritated. Then when Wolf makes the first howl, adding it on to irritate the minotaurs and push them to their limit. Then she was suppose to run and cross the river. While the minotaurs stop at the edge, the other two groups would jump out and force the minotaurs into the river. Then when Wolf gives the second howl, we all attack. It was a good plan, but except the fact that if something doesn't do as planned, they would be totally screwed. Its worth giving a try. she thought as everybody got into their hiding places. When everybody hid well, she felt herself begin to walk out to the open. Then when the minotaurs took notice of her, Wolf had already howled.

"This is bad," Wolf thought, seeing the situation at hand. They were now forced to fight, almost like an anti crystal room. With the sun at its peak, Wolf could only see the bright side of things. "Pair up! Anyone without a partner, come to me," Wolf said running up to Amon. "I'll be your sword if you be my shield." The two giants stood next to each other, five minotaurs heading their way.

They stood in a pentagon formation as they closed in on the two. The first one was way too fast. It had light armor and just a single sword, it made sense as to why it arrived first. "Check it. <<BEAST>>," Wolf called out as he performed his upcoming stunt. His blade quickly radiated with a bright white as he placed it behind him, ready to swing with everything he's got. As the first minotaur approached, Wolf swiftly rammed into it, stunning it temporarily. It was just enough time for him to bring his giant sword from the left, forward, and then to the right. It was a single massive swing knocking the beast backwards, sending it off like a bowling ball as it collided with its teammates.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH." It wasn't just a simple wolf's howl anymore. His <<howl>> was now a massive battle cry similar to that of a giant raging monster; it was perfect for him.

Seeing as how the dragon was now out of the picture to fight because it had surrounded the group with fire, Wolf began to bark out orders for everybody to pair up. Luckily for him Wolf had picked him to be his partner which Amon was completely fine with. "I'll be your sword if you be my shield." Wolf called out as he rushed the first minotaur to reach them. Wolf quickly dispatched it and sent it back into a couple of it's teammates. As soon as wolf had knocked the enemy back Amon rushed out behind him and leaped into the air and landed onto the group elbow first killing the first minotaur that Wolf had injured.

Like very few players in the game Amon was left handed, which made it much easier for him to deal with enemies since the game was programmed to have all enemies to be right handed. Amon had an immediate advantage whenever it came to battle because it is much harder to get around somebody who had a reverse guard than you. Unless you were used to it.

Amon rolled backwards and ran back to wolf to wait for the rest of the minotaurs to recover.

Black crouched as the first opponent got to him. Using the ground as a pushing off point Black thrust his spear into the body of the attacker. The beast was stopped by the weapon but instead of falling back it started to swing a giant axe towards his head. Seeing the axe black pulled out his spear and spun around. Using the back end of his spear he hit the axe arm slowing it down some. Continuing with the momentum he placed his hands halfway up the spear. Using his full force he swiped the spear right and as soon as it cleared the body he rolled to the right to get on his off side. Having rolled he thrust his spear in again aiming for the neck. The Minotaur blocked it with his hand and grabbed the tip of the spear. Realizing that there was no way he could lose his weapon now and live Black decided to change approaches. He jumped behind the Minotaur and landed behind him. The attacker tried to keep a hold of the spear but it managed to get out somehow. The world started to slow down, the wind slowed; the flames seemed to just stop. Even the embers in the air seemed to just hover in the air as if all had stopped. Feeling something like a threat he thrust himself to the right again basically doing a full rotation around his first opponent. While in the air he saw a two bladed sword fly in front of him so close he could see the detail on it, all the cracks and dents on it. Then the blade was gone and he landed. Seeing Yuuki nearby he naturally started working his way toward her. Having two people would be better then one and a spear would compliment her weapon well.

The minotaurs had begun their assault on the group, and the battle was in full swing. "So much for the plan." Vyse thought to himself with a smile. The minotaurs were closing the gap quickly, and Vyse watched them barreling across the open field towards him. His grip on his claymore tightened to the point where his knuckles began to turn white. Drawing in a deep breath, Vyse closed his eyes and activated one of his extra skills, «Meditation». He felt the skill take effect, and as it did, the world around Vyse began to slow, almost to a stop. Thick clouds of smoke hung almost motionless in the air above his head. Opening his eyes, he saw the minotaurs charging forwards in slow motion, Weapons held high in the air, ready to strike. He continued to watch as they slowly closed the gap, all the while waiting for the right moments to charge. He waited, and waited, until they were upon him.

As the minotaur directly in front of Vyse reached him, the world resumed its usual speed. Vyse kicked off from the ground, soft earth spraying out behind him as he darted forwards to strike. He dropped his left shoulder slightly and dodged a thrust from the minotaur before delivering an powerful upwards slash. The strike connected and sent the minotaur into the air. Vyse went leaping after it and when he reached the apex of his jump, brought his sword down on the airborne minotaur. The helpless minotaur was sent careening towards the ground and landed with a thud. The momentum of Vyse's sword sent him into a somersault in the air. He landed gracefully on his feet and without wasting a second, dashed at the fallen enemy to deliver a horizontal strike. With his combo finished, he back-peddled away from the enemy and took up a guard stance.

The minotaur picked itself up and glared at Vyse, sheer bloodlust in its red eyes. His attacks had managed to drop the minotaurs HP to the yellow. Shooting a glance behind him, Vyse searched for an ally nearby to pair up with, as per Wolf's instruction. finding no one, he turned his attention back to the minotaur who was once again charging at him.

Their numbers weren't decreasing any bit, in Wolf's eyes. Wolf watched as Vyse scanned for a partner but came up empty. Turning back to Amon, Wolf said a few words. "<<Beast>> is a powerful pushing move used to create space, best used at the start or the end of a fight but it's hard to chain after use." They examined as the four remaining enemies are quickly joined by three more. "Let's show these carriers how tanks play."

As the seven enemies approached the two ready players, Wolf slipped to the side. They reformed a pentagon formation but the additional two clung onto the ends, resulting in being useless in Wolf's eyes. Making his way into the center of the pentagon, Wolf took two slashes from the enemy minotaur dropping his hp to 70%. Wolf didn't even flinch. He knew what he signed up for. He was ready to get hit. "Initiate." Wolf said taking the final step in, directly in the center of the five, just out of space from the remaining two. "<<Rising Punishment>>!" It's pointless to call out the current move you're using but Wolf had a bad habit of doing it from outside of SAO.

After completing three full turns at a very rapid rate and stunning the five mythical beasts, Wolf backflipped into the air towards Amon. Their health has all dropped to 40% dealing an average of 20% per hit. That wasn't bad in Wolf's eyes considering he was strength based rather than dexterity based.

"Switch!" Wolf cried out while upside down mid air. He didn't intend to show off. This physical performance was only executed because it was necessary to escape that death trap. Two tanks on one group, both great fighters, and both great strategists; they had a great chance of victory; theoretically speaking of course.

Air rushed past Vyse as the dull blade of the minotaur swept past his face. Strike after strike was hurled at him, and he parried and dodged as best he could, only accumulating a few scratches here and there. Thanks to his meditation, his healing was boosted and he managed to maintain a green level of health, but he knew it wouldn't last forever. Suddenly, a cry rang out above the sound of battle. "Switch!"

The voice was unmistakeable. However, Vyse was pinned down a few yards away. He tried to circle to the left of the minotaur in front of him, but was held at bay with a flurry of swipes. Vyse saw his opening as the beast delivered a vertical slash. He jumped back to avoid the blade and it collided with the ground. Before the minotaur could withdraw its weapon, Vyse planted his foot on the flat edge of the blade, pinning it in place. Vyse stepped up the blade and before the minotaur could stop him, he leapt over the beast.

Vyse landed next to Wolf, and moments after his feet had hit the ground he vanished. He charged towards the enemies at full speed. Two slashes made contact with Vyse, but he shook them off. His target was the minotaur furthest from Wolf and himself. He needed as much room as possible to launch his next attack. He concentrated on the blade in his hands, and it began to glow a brilliant blue as he readied himself.

The minotaur swung at Vyse as he came into striking range, and the blade glanced off his shoulder. However, the wound didn't stop him. Vyse released the energy in his sword and unleashed «Savage Fulcrum». His blade traced a clean blue line through the air as he slashed upwards through the minotaur before bringing the blade across in a second diagonal slash and again vertically. The blue light faded and the three slashes left a series of red streaks across the minotaur that resembled a '4'. Vyse smiled as he leapt backwards to land next to wolf once more, and the minotaur vanished in a shimmering display of polygons. Vyse nodded in acknowledgement to Wolf and Amon before disappearing into the midst of the battle again, hoping he would get to see them after the battle was over.

Things never go al planned... Nick thought as he crossed blades woth a minotaur.

They are tough! Nick said. Wolf had yelled find a partner, but before he knew it nick was surrounded by the enemy.
So nick was fighting for his life.

He was hit by a strike of the minotaur and his HP had dropped to 80 percent.

If i want to survive this... nick tought. I'll have to reveal it...

No choice nick thought as he activated a hidden skill, a battle roar.
His roar was heard far an wide, it was more like a demon's roar then a human.
The minotaur staggered for a second, that was all that nick needed, he kicked off the ground, his eyes changed collor from his blue eyes
to blood red eyes, he wasn't using skills anymore but was hitting them with all his might using the sword.
He was going berserk.

The laugher that came from him was maniacal, and unlike nick's normal personality.
This was the only option he had left, one he wanted to keep hidden, but desperate times called for desperate messures.

After a couple of strikes the minotaur that had attacked nick dissapeared in a rain of polygons.

One down. nick thought, suddenly he felt a sharp pain, he looked down, a horn was sticking out of his stomach.
He looked as far behind him as he could and he saw a minotaur with it's horn sticking in nick's back.
His Hp entered the yellow zone and was dropping rapidly.

D-Damn. The effect of his roar had ended and he had lost some of his power.
I need help! He yelled, hoping someone would come to his aid.

"Switch!" Amon heard Wolf call out but before Amon could move he saw Vyse move in from behind the group of minotaurs he and Wolf had been fighting. About to rush in he heard another roar that wasn't Wolf's. Amon wondered who it came from since the only person in the group that he knew about who could do it was Wolf. Looking around Amon saw Nick go into a rampage but then he heard him call for help from the opposite side of the formation. "Wolf, you have a partner." Amon said with a chuckle, "I should probably go help out somebody with a little less armored. " Then Amon rushed over to the see Nick, who had a minotaur horn gouged into his midsection. Using his shield as a battering ram, Amon rammed the minotaur from the side just as Nick had dropped to 35% health. "Are you crazy?" Amon shouted to Nick, "Go retreat and heal up." I can take the rest of the guys until you get battle ready again and with a quick wink Amon charged head first into the group. Noticing his shield was glowing Amon figured that he had learned a new skill for his shield and thought he would try it out. He activated the skill <<Shield Boomerang>> and the shield flew out of his hand a knocked the first minotaur off of it's feet and returned to Amon's hand within a second. "Not bad" Amon thought as he readied himself for the next attack. "At this rate I might just stick with a shield as a weapon!" Amon laughed.

Trying to get closer to Yuuki and her mini dragon Black was suddenly cut off by another Minotaur. The beast had a axe and had taken quite a bit of damage, it’s health already being in the red. He didn’t know if it was the same one that attacked him earlier but even if it wasn’t he doubted that it would just let him get by. Not knowing how well it would work Black pulled back his arm and got ready to throw the spear he held. He started holding it just when he felt a slight vibration in the shaft of the spear. A dark red light started to consume the tip of the blade and not knowing exactly what he was doing he held it then let it go almost like a javelin. The spear flew foreword and stabbed the Minotaur in the chest. The damage did not kill it right away but the piercing damage it did while inside the body of the beast was enough to kill it. The opponent shattered into glass and the weapon that he had started to fall to the ground. Not evening breaking his step Black ran and picked it up in mid air with his right hand and kept running seeing the Minotaur with the giant two handed blade on an intercept course.

The battle had been waging on for some time now but only 4 enemies have dropped. But that was about to change very fast. Wolf lowered his head as he was now alone in battle, and assumed a fighting stance with his sword placed behind him. Six enemies were placed before him, four of which, only had 40% health. He quickly slipped in between all four, barely dodging both swings coming from his sides.

"<<Rising Punishment>>!" Wolf spun rapidly like a top and placed three beautiful red lines upon the four minotaurs around him. Holding his blade up quickly, as if bunting a baseball, he intercepted two giant axes that were coming down on him from the two remaining minotaurs.

The four monsters shattered in the wind as Wolf held his blade against the two beasts. His health was slowly dropping but nothing significant enough to let him care. Wolf tumbled backwards as his health reached 65%.

Even with killing four of them, just like that, too many still remained. He just hopes everybody doesn't bite off more than they can chew.
