Vergil and Dante .We will always fighting till we die and always in human world and demon world to hold the power of our father sparda.

Devil may cry summary

2,000 years ago the human world was ruled over by the demon world. However, one of the demons, the legendary dark knight Sparda, awoke to justice and defeating the evil emperor Mundus sealed the demon world away from the human world. He then sealed his own darkest powers away (fearing he would become a threat to the humans himself) and assumed a human form, living among the humans, and for 2000 years he preserved the harmony of the worlds. Eventually Sparda fell in love with a human woman called Eva and had twin half blood sons, Dante and Vergil. However, Sparda died, and shortly after, Eva was killed in a demon attack that separated the two sons. Hating the demons for taking away his mother and his brother from him, Dante becomes a demon hunter and continues his fathers work, seeking revenge. 20 years on, Dante is called to Mallet island on a job, and comes face to face with an ancient enemy of his fathers.

The Character:

The Legendary Sparda
Devil Arms: Sparda
The one who woke for justise to protect human from demon and maried with a human name Eva and have two son dante and vergil. He betrayed his own kind and defeat the great demon king, Mundus. After defeated the all demon back to the demon world, he sealed his own power into the demon world too because he know he's to strong. After doing so, he had watched over the human ever since, but later died with an unknown cause. Eva gave Dante and Vergil half of the amulet each to them each, which is the key unlock the demon world when combined together.

Dante (as appeared in DMC 4)
Devil Arms: Force Edge (DMC 1) & Rebellion (DMC 2 to DMC 4)
Firearms: Ebony & Ivory
The character that the player have to assume as. Dante is Vergil's younger twin brother and the son of the demon Sparda and the female human Eva. He is the owner of the 'Devil May Cry' shop (which the name was breftly changes to 'Devil Never Cry' at the end of DMC 1) with 'devil hunting' as it's main business. Being half human, half demon, he gain the power of immortallity. Dante is very well known for his playful and cocky attitude toward his enemies, which he would play around with them before finishing them off. Although Dante tends to be more of a thrill-seeker, he would still care for the human world and carry on his father's will to protect it. One of the noticable thing about Dante is he never kills any human, only demons and devils.

Vergil(as appeared in DMC 3)
Devil Arms: Yamato
Vergil is Dante's elder twin brother and the son of the demon Sparda and the female human Eva. Vergil is the opposite of his brother, he tends to be more serious and more ambitious than Dante, which leads to the fact that he seeks his father's power to surpass his father. Eventually, he failed and lost to Dante in there showdown for the possesion of Force Edge (the unawakened state of the Sparda sword), and each other's half of the amulet. Failed to gain Force Edge and Dante's amulet halves, he challenged the King of the demon world Mundus, but was considered to have lost and fallen under the control of Mundus. Mundus transforms him into Nelo Angelo.

Nero
Devil Arms: Red Queen
Firearm: Blue Rose
Special Ability: The Devil Bringer
An another protagonist that the player have to assume, made his first debut in DMC 4. Nero is an orphan adopted by the 'Order of The Sword', after having grown up he became one of the Holy Knights of the Order. Nero was portrait to be quite similar to Dante in terms of his cockiness and playful attitude (although not as much as Dante himself), in addition, as the story goes Nero is not as strong as Dante. He doesn't get along well with the others in the Order, prefer to do things all by himself, he was only given special assignments from the Order. Nero is very close to Kyrie, but never reveal the secret of his arm to her nor to anybody else. Instead he used a cast to conceal the 'Devil Bringer' from everybody, but was later forced to use it after his first encounter with Dante. It was never revealed how Nero manage to obtain the 'Devil Bringer'.

Lucia
Devil Arms: Twin Curved Swords
Arsenals: Daggers
Lucia made have first debut in DMC 2 as the second protagonist of the installment alongside Dante. Lucia live with her adopted mother Matier and is a part of the Vie de Marii, a clan of gardians which carry demonic blood in their vain. Carrying the demonic blood herself, Lucia can also use the 'Devil Trigger' ability much like, Dante, Vergil, and Nero.

Trish (as appeared in DMC 4)
Firearms: Unnamed 'Twin Pistols'
Trish made her first debut in DMC 1 as a support character for the storyline of the installment. Trish is a women who suddenly attack Dante at the beginning of DMC 1 as a test of Dante's power (which Dante easily overcome). Actually she said to have come to seek help from Dante to stop the arrival of the King of the Demon World, Mundus, at Mallet Island. It was reveal that Mundus created Trish to lure Dante to Mallet Island so that he can finish off Dante and he'll be able to conquer the human world without any obsticles in his way. Later, Trish betrayed Mundus and help Dante to defeat him, which end up with Trish working without Dante at his 'Devil Never Cry' shop. She made her return in DMC 4 as Dante's partner. She disguised herself as Gloria, a new member of the 'Order of the Swords' that manage to gain her rank quickly by presenting the Sparda sword to the spritual leader of the Order, Sanctus. She did this so she can find out more about the Order's recent, suspicious, activities.

Lady (as appeared in DMC 4)
Firearms: Pistols, sub-machines guns, and Kalina-Ann
Lady made her first debut in DMC 3 as a support character, a narrator at some point, and a boss of the installment. Lady is a young female human that have a grudge against her own father, Arkham, for kiling his own wife, Lady's mother. She seeked vengence from her father and traveled to the Ten-men-nigru, and met Dante there. At first, Lady is very hostile against Dante, up to the point that she tries to kill him, but later to discover that it's a futile effort. Despite being human, her acrobatic, agility, and firearms skilled can be considered as superhuman like Dante or Vergil. In the end, she manage to succeed in executing her own father, nevertheless she felt sorry about it and shed tears on the spot. Later, she befriends Dante as he help her to accomplish her goal, that is to 'anihilate all demons' which is also the start of their jobs as devil hunters and the start of Dante's 'Devil May Cry' shop. She made her return in DMC 4 as a solo devil hunter that gave Dante and Trish the information about the 'Order of the Swords' activities, which she claims that it disturbs her work.

Eva
A female human that is the wife of the Legendary Sparda and the mother of their twins, Dante and Vergil. Trish bares an extreme resemblance to her, in which the way that Mundus design her to be. Eva was killed at some point prior to the storyline of DMC 3, by the hand of Mundus. She is the person who gave Dante and Vergil each halves of the amulet, which is the key to the demon world as well as the key to awaken the Sparda sword.

Kyrie
A young female human who grows up in Fortuna city along side her brother, Credo. Kyrie is part of 'The Order of Sword' as a songstress for their festivals. Nero is her close friend as well as her love interest. However she was unaware of Nero's demonic arm, the Devil Bringer; she was decieved by the cast the that Nero used to concealed it. Nevertheless, as the DMC 4 storyline proceeds, she discovered Nero's secret.

Credo
The supreme-general of the 'Holy Knights' of 'The Order of The Swords'. As the supreme-general, Credo is very well respected by everyone in the Order. He grow up in Fortuna town alongside his sister, Kyrie. He also adopted Nero into his family, although they don't get along well all the time. This is mainly due the difference in their personailty; Credo can be considered as the opposite of Nero, he tends to take things more seriously and doesn't play around. He pled his loyalty to the Order, and to the spiritual leader of the Order, Sanctus. He wouldn't even doubt the order or Sanctus. He even follow Sanctus and the Order up to the point of turing himself to a demon at Sanctus's will.

Nelo Angelo
A demon that served Mundus to fight off Dante when he arrived at Mallet Island. Throughout DMC 1, the player will have to face him three times before he is completely defeated. Nelo Angelo is actually Vergil, Dante's elder twin brother. He challenged Mundus and fallen under his control, Mundus then tranformed him into an form that Dante can't reconised.
