Location: Giraffes live in Africa, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania on the east of the continent, and South Africa, and Botswana in the very south.
Habitat: Giraffes are specifically found on flat, grassy, areas also known as Savanas
Diet: Giraffes are Herbivores. Some examples of the things they eat are leaves, twigs and specific plants. ex: Acacia spp.(highly liked)
Size: The giraffe male grows up to 5.5m (18ft) and females up to 4.5(15ft)
Description: Giraffes are the tallest animals in the world. They can grow to a maximum of 18ft tall and wiegh anywhere from 2000 to 4000 pounds. Giraffes are known for their beautiful pattern on their skin.Differences in pattern divide giraffes into two main groups: reticulated giraffes and blotched giraffes. The giraffe's neck is usually around 8-10 feet long. They have at least 2 horns on their head and are considered nocturnal and diurnal creatures.
Conservation: not too bad, but is exstinct in others continents.
