Thanks to some mentionable people, same-sex marriage has been legalized in California. Things are, at last, progressing. We protest and protest and so many people try to bring us down. This just shows that we can persuade others and that the people that try to bring us down aren't so high and mighty after all.

We need to keep trying. We need to aim for the entire world. A few places on this Earth is not good enough, and we shouldn't settle for anything less than the very best.

It is unfortunate how people cannot accept us for who we are, but it is even more unfortunate how they get their way! It's because of them that we don't currently have the right to marry who we love, same-sex or not, wherever we want to! They've killed people like us out of pure FEAR. We have to fight fire with fire.

So I advise you members to protest where you can and speak your mind. Don't hit, kick, or murder like those against us. The pen is mightier than the sword. Your words and opinions win over utter violence any day. So stay strong and don't succumb to those who want nothing more than to take you down for the most absurd reason ever.

And remember that your sexual orientation is not all of you. It's only a part of you. You are much more than your sexual preference.
