It is now possible to store memory data, so that the death of your body is not actually "death". As memories are stored in databanks, they can be "transferred" to new bodies. Because so-called "memory trading" now occurs, it is now possible to steal memories and illegally alter them.
Society has fallen apart as authority has become lost and stagnant.
One day, a man awakens in a ruined room. His name is Kaiba. He has no memories, but he does have a pendant with a picture of an unknown woman inside...
In the skies a mysterious cloud of electricity floats, stalking the streets to hunt for memories.
After suddenly being attacked, Kaiba escaped into space, and during his travels meets all sorts of people and regains his memories. Throughout it he continues to be troubled by the world's problems, as well as his own existence. And what of the woman in the pendant, Neiro?
"Although the trippy animation style put me off at first, it allowed for otherwise impossible creativity and made the show unforgettable.
I also need to mention the creativity in character creation. I'm not sure there was one flat character"
"This is a simply incredible series that shouldn't be ignored even if it has simple animation. It truly is a diamond in the rough, definitely worth watching."

I love this sort of anime. Where you have no idea what's happening initially, and try to piece it together until it's all revealed later. It's so addicting for some reason.
"this is a true thing that happens! its not a chain letter! its kinda scary at first but it really works!! paste this message into 3 comments and press ALT F1 and your crushes name will appear on the screen!!! its soo wierd!"
:D I dont think this story is hard to follow at all. It might be before you hit episode 8 but I think from there on they explain quite a bit. Episode 10 is the most explainatory (spelling?) so far. Can't wait for the final two.
The subber site says they do plan to release the episodes, its just that the translator was busy so its not like the other members could make a move but his last comment a while back was that 10 was finished and 11 in progress.
Hm well its done now I think. 12 episodes? If so then... maybe they're planning to release all episodes together X.x Well this isn't licensed so at least we can be sure it will be released by fansubs. Looks to be a blow out of episodes.
For you all looking for the Kaiba OST, it was posted on the Ureshii Anime Fansub comment page by Sponk. http://ureshii-fansub.org/?p=327#comments or you can download it at http://www.megaupload.com/?d=MEK68MUB
this anime is amazing, although at first I was skeptical as well, but i'm so glad I decided to watch the other episodes cuz this anime is just beautiful, its so good..but only watch it if ur in the "mood" because it can get really confusing
Hm 11 just aired perhaps the group subbing will release the last bunch of episodes together, one more episode left after all. Or they may be waiting for better RAWS. But hey least we can be sure this will be released.
