Chibi-Pa was organized as an Anime and Cultural Festival. We try to the best of our ability to bring in events and guests that will expand the knowledge of Japanese Anime to fans. We try to show programming that may not yet be available in the United States. We also try to have programming that is available but attendees may not see unless shown.
We also do not aim our goals at one age group. For this, we have events that are not aimed at children. We urge all parents to accompany their children through life and this event. We can not stop guests from making lewd and insinuative remarks. This is when it is a parent's right to control what their child is seeing and hearing. Any event that we deem intentionally lewd or lascivious will have someone checking IDs at the door. These events will not allow children even if accompanied by an adult, unless otherwise stated.
We hope that Chibi-Pa has a little something for all guests. Though we know that we are unable to please everyone, we believe that if all guests arrive with an open mind and are willing to understand and participate, they will find something fun eventually. Even if it's sitting on the floor having a discussion with a complete stranger as to why Hello Kitty is better than Di Gi Charat because of its complete and utter lack of the "nya" thing.
