Code Geass:Lelouch of the Rebellion Season 1 plot
On August 10, 2010, a.t.b., the Holy Empire of Britannia overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames, in less than a month. In the aftermath of Britannia's invasion, Japan lost its freedom and rights and was renamed Area 11. The Japanese people, renamed as "Elevens", were forced to survive in ghettos, while Britannians lived in first-class settlements. Rebel elements persisted, however, as pockets of Japanese organizations who struggled against the Empire for the independence of Japan.
After his father, the Emperor of Britannia, did nothing to pursue the terrorists who murdered his mother and crippled his sister, the young prince named Lelouch vowed to destroy Britannia. Seven years later, living in Area 11, he encounters a mysterious girl who gives him the power of Geass. With it, he finally has the power that he needs to defeat Britannia and fulfill his two wishes: to seek revenge for his mother and to construct a world in which his beloved sister can live happily.
Code Geass:Leouch of the Rebellion 2 Plot
One year after the incidents of the first season and the failure of the Black Rebellion (ブラックリベリオン, Burakku Riberion?), headed by Zero's Black Knights, Area 11 has been demoted by the Emperor of Britannia to the rank of a Remedial Area territory. This has resulted in the Empire enforcing harsher rulings and punishments on Area 11 and beginning a thorough crackdown on the Black Knights, arresting several of its members and shutting down its operations. The Empire is also at serious tensions with two of the other major world superpowers, the EEU, that has been fighting a lengthy war against it, and the Chinese Federation, which itself seeks to conquer Area 11 without fighting a war.

Nationality: Britannian

Character outline
Lelouch is introduced in the first episode of the series to be a student of the Ashford Academy high school, where he is a member of its student council. A brilliant thinker who is quite talented at chess, he lives with his younger sister, Nunnally, at a house situated within the compounds of Ashford Academy, where they are looked after by the Ashford family.
When Lelouch is seventeen years old, he is swept within the conflict between the Britannia Empire and the pockets of resistance which oppose it, when he accidentally boards a truck being used by Japanese resistance operatives to transport a Britannian military secret contained within a capsule, thought to be poison gas, after being attracted by a mysterious silhouette which had formed over its surface.[2] In the subsequent chaos, during which Lelouch reunites with Suzaku Kururugi and the capsule bursts to reveal a mysterious green-haired girl (later revealed to be C.C), Lelouch is accosted by Britannian soldiers, who attempt to shoot him, but is stopped from doing so by C.C, who comes between them and is subsequently shot in the head. Shocked by the chaos and death surrounding him, Lelouch is helpless and at a loss at what to do. However, C.C suddenly touches his hand and subsequently transports him into a mysterious plane, within which she proposes to him a contract, offering him an ability she calls the "Power of the King", the mythical power of Geass, which allows him to make people completely obey his orders, which he accepts and binds himself to. He later uses this power to order the Britannian soldiers to kill themselves in the name of Lelouch Vi Britannia (his real name), after which he begins his rebellion against the Empire and killed his half-brother, Clovis, after extracting information of his mother, Marianne's murder.
Lelouch believes the world to have been thrown within a vicious circle of violence and oppression, which can only be broken if someone dared to step forth, work against it, and win. The true purposes of his rebellion against the Britannia Empire are to obtain revenge for his mother and construct an ideal world in which his sister Nunnally can live in peace.
After Euphemia Li Britannia declared the region under Mount Fuji the Special Administrative Zone of Japan and threatened the very existence and popular support towards the Black Knights, Lelouch confronts her at the opening ceremony. Lelouch gives her an undetectable gun and tells her to shoot him to incite a riot, but when she says she planned to give her title, he surrenders and agrees to work with the SAZ. However he accidentally orders her to kill all the Japanese when his Geass permanently activates without him knowing it, and he cracked a joke about killing all the Japanese. As Britannian soldiers begin to massacre the Japanese, Lelouch is forced to shoot and kill Euphemia, thus devastating Suzaku. Using the anti-Britannian sentiments fueled by the massacre, Lelouch is able to lead an attack on the Tokyo Settlement and against Governor-General Cornelia Li Britannia. The attack is initially successful as Britannian forces became outnumbered and disorientated. After managing to disable Cornelia's Knightmare, Lelouch uses the Geass on her and forces her to tell him who killed Marianne. However, Cornelia revealed to a perplexed Lelouch that not only did she not kill Marianne, but she was ordered to withdraw the security detail by Marianne on the day she was killed. Lelouch intended to use Cornelia as hostage, but he was interrupted by the arrival of Jeremiah Gottwalt, who attacked Lelouch using a massive aerial weapon.Lelouch Lamperouge points his gun at Suzaku. Lelouch later learns that Nunnally was kidnapped by V.V., and abandons the rebellion in Tokyo to search for his sister, thereby effectively dooming the rebellion to superior Britannian forces, who fell into disarray and desperation without Lelouch's superior leadership. He and C.C takes the Gawain Knightmare Frame to Kaminejima to search for the kidnapped Nunnally, but falls into a trap that reveals part of C.C's memories to Lelouch. Lelouch then affirms to C.C that they are still accomplices, but are immediately attacked by Jeremiah, who followed them to Kaminejima. C.C tells Lelouch to go look for Nunnally while she deals with Jeremiah with a weakened Gawain and gave him a kiss. While Lelouch sneaks onto the island, he fails to realize that Suzaku and Kallen also followed him onto the island. As a standoff is triggered, Suzaku unmasks Lelouch by shooting and cracking his helmet. Lelouch offers a truce to Suzaku, telling him that Nunnally has been kidnapped. However, Suzaku refuses the truce, saying that Lelouch continued to deceive everyone. Lelouch then slaps an explosive onto his chest, declaring that if his heart stops beating, the bomb will explode and kill them all. Lelouch declares that Euphemia's death is the past, that Suzaku had killed his own father as well, and that they could always regret it later, but Suzaku becomes enraged and rebukes that Lelouch will betray the world until the very end, and that his very existence is a mistake. An angered Lelouch draws his pistol and both Lelouch and Suzaku begin to pull the triggers on their pistols. A gunshot is heard as the screen fades to black at the end of season one, but Lelouch, Suzaku, and Kallen all survived the incident, though by what means is unknown. At the end of the season, C.C narrates that the spark of Lelouch's actions was the core of human motivation, the desire for just a small amount of happiness. One year later, Lelouch's memories were suppressed and is once again living his peaceful life with his younger brother, Rolo Lamperouge. After being caught in an attack in Babel Tower by the Black Knights and being separated from Rolo, Lelouch reunites himself with C.C. and regains his memories as the Black Knight leader, 'Zero', with a memory of Suzaku pointing a gun and saying to him that they will still be friends. Now, with his memories and Geass restored, Lelouch plans to change the world.
Character history
Lelouch's young self, when he was a prince of BritanniaIt is later revealed that he is in fact the son of the Emperor of Britannia and the late Empress Marianne, thus being a member of the Britannia Imperial Family.[3] His real name is Lelouch Vi Britannia (ルルーシュ・ヴィ・ブリタニア, Lelouch Vi Britannia?) and he was the eleventh prince and seventeenth in line for the throne prior to his mother's assassination and his sister's crippling in the same incident. A 10-year-old Lelouch confronted the Emperor afterwards and accused him of leaving his mother defenseless, even going as far as saying he does not need to be a successor of the throne. In response, his father declared him stripped of his status as prince and banished him to Japan, where he was used as a political hostage over the mineral sakuradite conflict.
It was during his stay at the Kururugi household that he first met Suzaku Kururugi, with whom the young Lelouch did not interact initially in a friendly manner[4], before later becoming friends. However, when Britannia finally developed its Knightmare Frames fleet and decided to invade Japan to seize control of the Sakuradite mines, consequently discarding Lelouch's use as a diplomatic tool, Lelouch, fearing for his and his sister's safety, hid their true identities and sought the help of the Ashford family, who were his mother's allies. His mother's death is a huge blow to him and the ignorance of the death from his father, the Emperor of Britannia, is another huge blow to Lelouch. He always felt that it was unfair for both his mother and sister, therefore his goal is to pursue a better world for Nunnally, also a quest to find out about the true reason for his mother's death because she was murdered in the Aries Royal Palace, not a place where the terrorist could enter easily.
Zero
Lelouch in the middle with the Order of Black Knights
Lelouch as ZeroTo further pursue his quest against Britannia, he dons a black helmet and cloak and assumes the secret identity of a mysterious, masked activist he christens as Zero (ゼロ, Zero?). He is assisted in this quest by C.C, who later appears at his house and begins living with him, forming an alliance. He later creates The Order of the Black Knights by allying himself with Kallen's resistance group, starting a vigilante campaign against powerful individuals who oppress the helpless. He is willing to do whatever it takes to collapse the Empire, even if it means lying to his followers, using people as bait for the outcome he desires. However, it is difficult for him to execute his meticulous plans when he knows or discovers those close to him may suffer from the results, which is a weakness as a commander but a remnant of his humanity and sanity. Gradually, however, he had came to embrace the fact that he has to destroy before reconstruction can occur, and if his feelings become a hindrance he will have to eliminate them. The true purposes of Lelouch's rebellion are to obtain revenge for his mother, Marianne and construct an ideal world where his sister Nunnally can live in peace.
Skills and abilities
Geass
Lelouch using Geass
Lelouch's power of Geass, "the power of absolute obedience", allows him to momentarily control a mind, in a fashion similar to hypnotism, and is situated in his left eye. When activated, a red bird-shaped sigil, similar to the mark on C.C's forehead, lights up in the eye and reaches out to its target(s). Lelouch's Geass later evolves and becomes permanently activated. According to the English version of the Newtype magazine, the Power of Geass has something to do with the very existence of humankind and can be used to destroy or transform just about anything.[5] Currently, his power evolved over time and became permanently activated, in the second season it is revealed that after Zero and Suzaku's confrontation, Lelouch had his mind wiped by C.C and thus does not remember having the Geass, thus the sigil disappears from his eye. When the power of Geass and Lelouch's memories are restored, Lelouch activates and deactivates the Geass by covering his eye with his hand. It's been revealed that his Geass have other psychic powers, including hypnosis.Lelouch performs some experiments with his power of Geass and discovers the following:
The user can only use it once on a given individual. Any following attempts will be ineffective.
The victim is bound by his or her physical and mental capabilities
Asking the victim about or to do something that he or she doesn't know or cannot do will produce no effect.
Indirect eye contact via a reflective surface, i.e. mirror, will be enough for the power to work.
The power will work within a 270 meter radius of the user.
The user may give as many commands as he or she wishes while direct eye contact is maintained.
The user must give the commands verbally. However, the power of Geass will control the victim for the duration of what the user's command indicates, so the victim may still act under the power's influence even when direct eye contact is broken.
The user may use the power on as many people as he or she wishes simultaneously, provided that they meet the above rules first.
The user can also use the power on him or herself, as long as the above limitations and conditions are met.
The victim will not retain any memories from the time during which he or she is under the influence of the power of Geass due to the rewiring and damage to the brain.
The power will not work on C.C.
If the command given is totally repungent to the individual, there will be some initial resistance, even though the command will eventually be carried out. For instance, Princess Euphemia originally resists the carrying out of her command, and seems to be in agony over the thought of it before finally bowing to it's wishes.
Intellect
Even without his Geass, Lelouch is a formidable opponent. He is highly intelligent, possessing a genius-level intellect, and is capable of devising and executing strategies with incredible speed and precision. The series repeatedly demonstrates Lelouch's mental acuity; in Stage 14, when Mao says C.C.'s name, Lelouch instantly comes up with fourteen different possibilities for Mao's identity - including the correct one. In the audio dramas, Suzaku says that, when they were children, Lelouch devised a secret sign language containing over 500 words. In Stage 17, Lelouch proves his tactical ability by predicting the Lancelot's actions exactly thanks to his study of past battles, allowing Kallen and the Four Holy Swords to almost defeat the Lancelot (only Suzaku's reflexes saved his life). His intelligence is also parodied in one humorous Sound Episode, which has the Student Council members acting suspicious, and Lelouch racing through possible explanations and cover-ups with increasing speed (though in the end, it turns out that they were acting strange because he had some rice on his cheek from his lunch).
Physical
Physically, however, Lelouch is underwhelming. He possesses the physical prowess of a teenager who engages in little to no strenuous physical activity. Within the series, this is usually played for comedic effect. In Stage 6, he exhausts himself running up the academy spire while Suzaku runs on ahead. In Stage 16, he fails to land a punch on Mao, despite the fact that the latter is badly injured and disoriented. In Stage 19, he attempts to dig a pit trap to catch a wild animal, but quickly tires after producing a hole no deeper than two feet, although his only tool was a large wooden stick, possibly a fallen tree branch. The manga adaptation of the series similarly features Lelouch attempting an acrobatic feat in an attempt to show up Suzaku, only to cause both of them to land face-first in the dirt. Code Geass R2 takes the joke to its logical conclusion by having Lelouch be in remedial gym class, which he typically avoids attending
Suzaku Kururugi (枢木 スザク, Kururugi Suzaku?)
Nickname: "White Knight"
Age: 17 (first season) 18 (second season)
Nationality: Eleven
Date of birth: October 7, 2000 a.t.b
Zodiac Sign: Libra
Blood type: O
Height: 176cm (5'9")
Character Outline
Suzaku was introduced in the first episode of the series where he was a soldier from the Britannia army. While searching for the "bomb", he met his childhood friend, Lelouch Lamperouge. He refused to carry out an order to kill Lelouch, which lead to him being shot by his officer. However, he was saved by a broken pocket watch, a momento from his deceased father, which he always kept with him.Suzaku Kururugi's Knightmare Frame, LancelotThough he agrees with Zero on the latter's assertion that the Britannia Empire is corrupt and not worth serving, he wants to change and improve the Empire from within, to show that his father's death was not in vain. This is because, as Suzaku claims, achieving results by wrong or illegal methods is meaningless. In a twist of fate, Suzaku becomes the pilot of Lancelot during the Shinjuku ghetto debacle due to the fact that it was 'experimental', resulting in the Knights (Knightmare Frame pilots) not being an option. After Lloyd had Suzaku tested if he could even pilot a Knightmare Frame, it was revealed that based on his evaluation score, Suzaku was a top-class operator. After the incident, he became a scapegoat for the death of Prince Clovis in episode three, in a plan apparently engineered by Margrave Jeremiah Gottwald. He was acquitted, and enrolled into Ashford Academy, by Euphemia's suggestion. His rank within the military was initially Private, but he was later promoted to Warrant Officer by Cornelia when she first arrived in Japan. Despite his position in the Britannian Army, he still regards Lelouch as a friend.Suzaku's position as the Lancelot's pilot was revealed to everyone during a battle with his former instructor Kyōshirō Tōdō, the immediate aftermath of which he was chosen by Princess Euphemia to become her Knight, granting him the rank of Major. During the battle on Shikinejima Island, Lelouch was forced to use the power of Geass on Suzaku and commanded him to "Live". As this command gives no time or event limitations, it activates within Suzaku every time he feels suicidal and deters him from doing so. Suzaku falls in love with Euphemia, and thus is emotionally crushed by her death. He gets a visit from V.V., offering to explain to him about the truth behind Euphie's death. He later calls Lelouch using Euphie's phone, and tells him that his motives have turned from idealism to hatred, and that he will fight for hatred. This is further shown in the battle near the end of the first season where, instead of trying to save everyone, he brutally kills anyone who gets in his way, including senior Black Knights member Yoshida. It also appears that Suzaku has an undefined connection to the Geass (perhaps due to his earlier contact with C.C.), which allows him to "sense" individuals strongly related to the Geass such as C.C. and V.V. Suzaku Kururugi points his gun at LelouchSuzaku was formally granted Knight of Honor status by Cornelia near the end of the first season. He then follows Zero to Kaminejima and fires a shot that narrowly misses Zero as he was about to open the door and orders him to turn around slowly under gunpoint. When Zero tries to justify his actions about how Euphemia killed the Japanese, he asked Zero if Geass was a convenient tool. Zero is surprised that Suzaku knows about the Geass. After which, Suzaku calls out to Kallen, who had been following him, and asked if she wants to know about Zero's identity.Despite Kallen's feeble protest, he unmasks Zero by shooting and cracking Zero's helmet, revealing Lelouch's face. Unfazed, Lelouch offers a truce to Suzaku, telling him that Nunnally has been kidnapped. However, Suzaku refuses the truce, saying that Lelouch should have worked with Euphie all along. Lelouch counters by saying that Euphemia's death is the past, that Suzaku had killed his own father as well, and that they could always regret it later. However, Suzaku becomes enraged and rebukes that Lelouch will betray the world until the very end and that his very existence is a mistake. Sensing Suzaku finally has the intent to kill, Lelouch slaps a Sakuradite explosive onto his chest, declaring that the bomb would explode if it sensed his heart has stopped beating. Lelouch then attempts to ask Suzaku about Nunnally's kidnapper, but Suzaku angrily replies that things of the future have nothing to do with Lelouch. An enraged Lelouch then draws his pistol as well, and both men begin to pull the trigger. A gunshot is heard as the screen fades to black at the end of season one, leaving the fates of Lelouch, Suzaku, and Kallen unknown.Suzaku and Lelouch survived the incident and Suzaku was promoted to a member of the Knights of Round, the most powerful order of warriors in the Britannia Empire. Along its twelve members, his rank is seven. At the end of episode 25, he vows to kill Zero; this is reiterated in the Episode 1 of season two, in which he swore to the Emperor that he alone will kill Zero and will not give such right to anyone else
Character History
Suzaku when he was youngSuzaku is the son of Japan's last prime minister, Genbu Kururugi. For reasons unknown, Suzaku's existence was kept a secret from the public until after the war. An incident in episode 16 between Suzaku and Mao results in the latter revealing that Suzaku murdered his own father during the immediate aftermath of Britannia's invasion of Japan, when Suzaku, horrified by the country's devastation due to the war, tried to convince his father to surrender. Suzaku lost control and stabbed him after his father slapped him away and refused to surrender, opting instead for a do-or-die resistance. The incident was covered up and Suzaku's life was spared, while the government was thrown into disarray and surrendered to Britannia. Lelouch justified this as Kirihara of the Kyoto group stated that Kururugi Genbu’s death had suppressed the hardline faction's call to the resistance of the bitter end. Moreover, he claims as Zero, prolonged resistance would have had the Chinese and Europeans intervention in the war to split Japan into 3 sectors, plunging it into a state of continuous war. Thus, Suzaku believes that the death of his father was necessary for Japan, even though he also believes that the ends achieved by using the wrong means are meaningless. However, after the murder of his father, Suzaku's guilty conscience makes him constantly placing himself in the frontlines, in hope to atone for his action by dying.Suzaku met Lelouch when Lelouch and Nunnally moved to the Kururugi residence as a diplomatic peace trade. At first, Suzaku despised Lelouch because he thought that he was a prince who didn't care about anyone. But as time passed by, he came to know Lelouch better, and they soon became best friends. They were separated when Britannia invaded Japan, but reunited in Shinjuku. However, their friendship was strained when he found out that Lelouch is actually Zero, who killed Euphemia. According to the DVD Magazine 02, Suzaku started suspecting Lelouch was Zero in episode 18.
C.C (シー・ツー, Shī Tsū?) (pronounced as C2)
Nicknames: "Gray Witch"
Age: 16 (in appearance)
Height: 160 cm (5'3")
Character Outline
C.C. released from the capsuleShe was first seen in the first episode where she emerged, bound, from the fake gas capsule seized by the Japanese rebels. She then saved the show protagonist, Lelouch Lamperouge from the Britannian soldiers by taking the shot intended for him, resulting in her being shot in the head. When Lelouch thought that she was dead, C.C suddenly touched his hand and transported him to a mysterious plane, within which she proposes to him a contract, offering him the mythical power of Geass which allows the user to control people's actions. She reappeared in episode 5, where she was folding origami with Nunnally, much to the surprise of Lelouch, who had just returned home. When Lelouch donned on the mask of Zero, she passively oversaw Lelouch's missions to ensure that he did not die, often going as far as wearing his clothes and impersonating him when situations became life-threatening.C.C. is a member of The Order of the Black Knights, but her willful attitude and lack of an official posting ended up annoying several veterans; at one point, Tamaki went so far as to accuse her of being a member only because she's Zero's lover, a claim which she coldly denied. When Lelouch headed to Kyūshū to battle the Chinese-supported rebellion, C.C. co-piloted the Gawain Knightmare Frame with him, apparently handling the actual piloting while Lelouch operated the weapons.C.C. eating pizzaShe also has a strong penchant for pizza, especially Pizza Hut's, much to Lelouch's (whose credit card she frequently uses to buy the food) exasperation. In episode 25, when Lelouch learned that Nunnally was kidnapped by V.V, they took the Gawain Knightmare Frame to Kaminejima to search for his kidnapped sister, but fell into a trap that reveals part of C.C.'s memories to Lelouch. These memories seem to focus on traumatic experiences, such as having been killed repeatedly throughout history. Her earliest memories include being tortured and killed in witch hunts during the dark ages, likely due to her inhuman abilities and apparent immortality. She tells Lelouch that she's been alive so long she can no longer remember who loves her and who hates her; She has been alone for as long as she can remember. Lelouch replies,
"You're not alone. We are partners. If you are a witch, then I'll become a warlock."
Before anything more can be said, they are attacked by Jeremiah Gottwald, who followed them to Kaminejima. C.C. tells Lelouch to go look for Nunnally while she deals with Jeremiah with a weakened Gawain and gave Lelouch a kiss, much to his surprise. At the end of season one she is falling to the ocean floor while narrating that the spark of Lelouch's actions was the core of human motivation, the desire for just a small amount of happiness. According to Yukana in a conference memo, C.C. was crushed by the water pressure, but managed to come to the surface; it is stated that it was too gruesome to show on TV.
At the start of R2, C.C. helps oversee the Order of the Black Knight's operations, while Zero is absent. She and the rest of the surviving Black Knights initiate an operation to unlock Zero's memory that was sealed away by her sometime before Season 2. However, unknown to her, the emperor himself had ordered to kill her with a personally deployed special forces unit to Area 11. Despite being shot through her heart, she managed to come back and unlock Lelouch's sealed memories and power.
Character History
C.C. as shown in her memories in episode 25.C.C. is the one who bestows the power of Geass upon Lelouch, under the condition that he would grant her greatest wish. Her latent abilities to detect individuals with strong Geass abilities caught the interest of Britannia, leading to her being imprisoned and used as a test subject for Britannia's experimentation on immortality.[1]
The former Resistance group stole the fake nerve gas capsule encasing her from the Britannia Army in Area 11, which led to Lelouch's re-encounter with C.C. When Lelouch came into contact with her while she was using image shock on Suzaku, he is accidentally shown parts of her memories, which included a woman with a sigil similar to her own, and hints of a bloody conflict. C.C. has a stigmata under her left breast, which takes the same shape as the sigil on her forehead. She involuntarily revealed her real name to Lelouch in her sleep in episode 11. When left alone, she has sometimes spoken to a previously unknown person through means unknown, which, in episode 23, was revealed to be Marianne, Lelouch's deceased mother, although in episode 19 it appears that she is talking to V.V. as well. According to the DVD Magazine 02, she is talking to more then one person when she seems to be talking to herself. C.C. as shown in her memories of being torturedIn Episode 25, C.C. triggers a trap set by V.V., causing herself and Lelouch to be submerged in a shock image sequence similar to the one she used on Suzaku. Through this, Lelouch sees memories of her past, including repeated "deaths". One shows C.C. attempting to escape from a World War I-esque battlefield, only to be shot in the forehead. Further memories show her being persecuted as a witch and suffering various forms of torture and/or execution, including burning at the stake, guillotining, and the iron maiden.
C.C. appears to be in her teens, but she actually has been alive for hundreds of years. (In a special feature included in the series' fifth DVD, she and Lelouch discuss Washington's Rebellion, during which she speaks of such people as George Washington and Benjamin Franklin as if she had been close friends with both.) In the past, she appears to have observed Suzaku and Lelouch when they were both children, even interacted with Lelouch at one point - an event he doesn't remember even when they are reunited later.
Skills and abilities
C.C. has impressive regenerative abilities, allowing her to recover from fatal wounds and making her nearly immortal. She cannot use the power of Geass but is immune to its effects. She also has Geass-related or psionic abilities, such as rapidly displaying a series of ominous and chaotic images in another person's mind by direct contact, though it also works through clothing and even a Knightmare Frame. She can also project a hologram of herself that is only visible to selected people, for which the selection criteria are still unknown.

After the confrontation of Lelouch with the Emperor of Britannia about the murder of their mother, both Lelouch and Nunnally were sent to Japan as political trade. Nightmare of Nunnally if you read this manga you probably know this
Front Manga cover of Code Geass: Nightmare of NunnallyIn the manga, Nunnally suddenly appeared in the Shinjuku Ghetto and fell down in tears. Unable to walk or see, she screamed out that she wants her brother back.Suddenly Nemo, a strange doll like being, appeared in front of Nunnally and offered her a contract to obtain her very own Geass, which allows her to see the line of the future. After she has obtained her Geass she also acquires a new body and her own Knightmare Frame called the Mark Nemo. After appearing inside the Mark Nemo, Nunnally was ecstatic that she can see and that she was no longer bound to her wheelchair. Suddenly a group of Sutherland pointed their weapons at her and threatened her to turn off her weapons and come out of her cockpit. Suddenly she sees a vision of her brother, Lelouch, being attacked and believes that they killed him. Nunnally, furious at what she saw, starts attacking the Sutherland group. Although she has never piloted a Knightmare Frame nor been in a battle she easily defeats the entire group of Sutherlands. After hearing a report that all twelve Sutherland's were destroyed in just few minutes, the shocked Clovis decides to send in Jerimiah and his Sutherland group to intercept the unknown Knightmare Frame.Nunnally who has seen the six Knightmares in with her new ability has already started her assault on them and destroyed four Sutherlands using her Mark Nemo's Blonde Knife from the ground. Villetta was so surprised that a wired rocket anchor would appear from the ground as no anchor from any Knightmare would perform that kind of maneuver. Annoyed by it she begins her assault on the Mark Nemo and launches her Slash Harken, but Nunnally launches her Blonde Knife on Villetta's and completely destroys her Knightmare; although simultaneously getting hit by her Slash Harken and getting pinned to the ground. With victory within his grasp, Jeremiah launches his attack from behind, but Nunnally brings out Mark Nemo's Katana and cut his Jousting Lance along with Jeremiah's Knightmare. Jeremiah was completely surprised and wonders how it knows their movements.Nunnally explained that her Geass can read the line of the future, allowing her to know exactly what will happen before it happens. This has given Nunnally the advantage; to know what will happen on the battlefield.
With Jeremiah's group defeated & the unknown Knightmare no longer appearing on radar, Clovis's subordinates suggest withdrawal, but Clovis refusal to do so gives Mark Nemo a chance to appear in front of him with a Katana in its hand and is about to kill Clovis, but just as she is about to, Nunnally sees a paper crane and she recalls a memory with Lelouch, wishing for a world that is peaceful and Lelouch telling her that when her eyes open she will see that world. After remembering that moment, with her blade mere inches from Clovis, Nunnally decides to spare Clovis's life and tells him to leave.
After waking up in her old body, Nunnally can't believe what she has done and what she is about to do and says it is only a dream, but got a reply that it's not a dream, in front of her is another shaped girl name Nunnally who said to her that from this day on she will become her Knight.
Geass
After receiving her own Geass from Nemo, Nunnally has the ability to read 'future line', an ability similar to Precognition. Like Lelouch, a red, bird-like sigil lights up in Nunnally's left eye when the power is activated.
The Order of the Black Knights
The Order of the Black Knights (黒の騎士団, Kuro no Kishidan?) is a group of revolutionaries originally named Resistance which strove to liberate Area 11 from Britannia and to restore it to Japan. When Zero takes over the group under his command and introduces them to the world, he announces that their goal is to "help those without power who are threatened by the more powerful". They rescued Tōdō from the Britannian army and recruited Tōdō's group, thus adding on to the strength of the knights.
The Black Knights enjoy victories after victories under the leadership of Zero and started to gain support from the Kyōto house. With the Kyōto house's support, they have much more financial backing and more Knightmare Frames which are good in quality too. Soon, the Black Knights started to expand and grow in strength. They then began preparations to invade Britannia.
However, it is to be noted that despite adding an organized hierarchy, the Black Knights seem to rely heavily on Zero and his masterful strategies, and they are always in a mess or fluster when Zero did not give them an order. This is emphasized in the final Battle of Tokyo where they almost immediately lose control as he leaves and fall before the Britannian troops. Interestingly, as of season 2, the Order of the Black Knights are completely knowledgeable of Zero's identity. When and how they learned this information is unknown, however Kallen did see Zero's face near the end of episode 25, the result of that encounter are unknown.

In the second episode, she is unknowingly assisted by Lelouch in Shinjuku (who, via the transmission of radio-based instructions, helped her defeat the Britannian forces chasing her) but was unaware of his true identity. She had initially suspected Lelouch of being the one who helped her in Shinjuku, but Lelouch tricks her by playing a recorded message of himself on the telephone, drawing her suspicions off him. Kallen appears to be trusted greatly by Lelouch, as he offers to reveal his true identity to her as early as in episode 12 (which she refuses), and she greatly admires Zero, evident in her ecstatic reaction to her appointment as head of the Zero squadron in episode 18.This aspect of her character contrasts the frail-girl image she uses as a public front. She later joins The Black Knights and receives her own Knightmare Frame, the Guren Nishiki, to replace the Glasgow she had lost while protecting her mother. Her identity was exposed when Suzaku accidentally finds her bathing herself by a waterfall situated in a nearby island, Kame ne Jima, in which they find themselves during the aftermath of the battle of Shikinejima. She is one of the few people who knows that Suzaku killed his father. At the end of Season One, Kallen participates on the attack on Tokyo. Kallen, along with Zero and other Black Knights, take over the Ashford Academy where it is to be used as a command center. She then reveals her identity to Milly, Shirley, Nunnally, and Rivalz to ensure that the students will not be harmed. Later, she squares off against an enraged Suzaku on the streets of Tokyo.
