Kim JaeJoong was born in January of 1986, under the sign of Aquarius, and in a numerous family. He is the the only guy in a family of eight sisters, in addition he is youngest. The oldest is 40 years old and from 1th to 5th sister married soon, reason why Jae get on well with the 6th, 7th and 8th sister, although he loves so much to all of them. Is the main vocal of the group, and is carrying out the role of the "big brother" with Yunho. Has deep thoughts and talks straight-forwardly. His neat and tidy personality is portrayed in the dorm they live in. Cleaning every corner of the house is blatantly a part of this trait, but he also is interested in cooking and feeds everyone in the group, in addition he worries about them and take care of the small parts in the team, help others with their problems in the hard times. By this whole they consider him the “mother” of the group. Jae is very handsome. Won the best looking award from SM and is a pretty boy. He has very feminine face characteristics, that make have a pretty face and that contrast with a great, masculine body.
Jung Yunho ,secured his spot in TVXQ through a dance competition. He was the second member to join TVXQ. Prior to this, he accumulated some musical experience as a rapper and backup dancer for K-pop singer Dana in her Diamond video. His chosen stage name is U-know YunHo, because when you say YunHo really fast it sounds like "You know" in English. He is the second oldest member in TVXQ and is also the band's leader. He began to dance in 7th grade where he made a dance team at his school and took them to a competition. During the depression, Jung YunHo's family's business was not doing very well and so he moved away from home and took many small jobs to support his sister's education. At the time he was in 9th grade and due to this, he often slept under the bridge of a train station. In extreme circumstances, he even begged for money. At this time he auditioned for SM Entertainment and was accepted. On October 15, 2006 he was hospitalized after being poisoned by an anti-fan who gave him a drink mixed with superglue.He was rushed to the hospital and eventually recovered, though he was weak for some time. No charges were pressed against the anti-fan because YunHo did not want to punish someone the same age as his sister.
Xiah JunSu's vocal prowess (inherited from his mother, who used to be a singer and was also a former Miss Korea) was discovered when he was 12. He trained for 6 years in SM Entertainment before debuting as part of DBSK. Xiah wanted to be a soccer player in early life but after seeing H.O.T perform the song Candy on TV in elementary school, his new dream was to sing on stage. He has said in an interview that if he were to come back in another life, he would definitely come back and be a soccer player. Xiah has always been one of the main and most noticed singer along with HERO in DBSK. He is usually requested to sing on almost every show he goes on, whether he is on his own, or with the group, because of his 'Angelic Voice' as it has been described. He is usually praised for his voice in interviews and on television shows. Among the members of the group, he is also one of the best dancers, second to U-Know, the leader and the best dancer of the group. Xiah has been praised for his dancing skills on many occasions. In November 2007, a commercial was released featuring numerous Korean pop stars, such as BoA and himself which formed the band Anyband.
An aquarius born in 1988, his blood type is B. Is greedy when it comes to music, so sometimes cries when he isn't satisfied with his singing. Because his parents are teachers, he is also very competitive and tries very hard at schoolwork and reading. Though the youngest in the group, he is the most modest and has the deepest thoughts. Can be honest and blunt when he strongly believes that something should not be done. Though shy at first, he is a very bright boy when you get to know him well. Followed his friend to an SM contest and luckily won the Best Singer award. ChoiKang Changmin, whose high note is outstanding . The youngest of our group Choikang Changmin is a crybaby. When his singing goes wrong he cries. But he has a brave side to him too. Starting from elementary school in 6th grade, he delivered newspapers as a part-time job. Changmin is the youngest in the family and group but noone can complete against his singing. His high note is so outstanding that he doesn't know what octave it goes up to. He says that hes worries that if he knows it might interrupt his singing. Changmin is a quiet person and doesn't talk very much. In an interview, he only says 2 or 3 things in the end. Changmin is a clear person who reads the Harry Potter Series and tells everyone about it. He particpated in a singing contest and won an award. That led him to be a singer but before that he was regular student .
A gemini born in 1986, has the middle-low vocal part of the group. Along with Xia, he is the middle voice of the group. Is an important figure that brightens up the mood and atmosphere with his funny personality. Perhaps he couldn't hide his talent even when he was little, for he won the highest award at the Korean/American Music Contest and the KBN Music Contest for young adults. Is very interested in composing and wrote over 100 songs, and the members personally like his song the best out of the ones the members composed. Joined the team last year and left his family in America, and he admits that he sometimes misses driving around New York. But he says that this moment, right now, is the happiest of his life. Micky Yoochun who gave up his U.S Citizenship~ Micky Yoochun's English is pretty good. Its because he lived in the states when he was Young. Yoochun immigrated to Virginia where his uncle lived when he was in elementary school (6th grade). In 2001, at a song festival, he won the daesang and started to spread his name around. Last Year in a Youth music festival, he recieved a special award and because of that, he caught one of SM's recruiting teams attention. Yoo Chun's piano skills and song writing skills are great. He has written over 100 songs now. He has good taekwondo skills too. In elementary school he represented the state's taekwondo team and performed with them on 'Children's day". Micky Yoochun who has lots of talents, recently announced that he gave up his U.S citizenship. It was to concentrate on his singing career. In order to keep up with the U.S citizenship he has to go to the states 2 or 3 times in a year. So it would be hard to peform in Korea all the time. Yoochun has announced that when he becomes an adult, he is going to join the army with DBSG members.
