Stand Up!!
Story: It's a comical story about four boys who find themselves the last virgins in school. Chie, a girl they knew 11 years ago appears during the summer holiday. I can't put it in better words than this "This story of summer - love, friendship, school, family, the hypocrisy of adults, complications of life, experience and failure is set in an everyday shopping district and shows the clumsiness of children who have developed a little later than their peers" --TBS. It's extreemly hilarious. But a warning there are very inappropriate references and scenes. There is also nudity. I still liked the drama and found it very interesting, but I have to warn everyone who is considering watching this drama.
Acting: Yamapi shows his talent even at this young age (but I expected his fantastic preformance). Nino also did great (he was such a shrimp though). Oguri Shun was fantastic as always also. Suzuki Anne, whom I hadn't seen before, did an amazing job also. I didn't like her character at first (I thought she was kind of annoying) but I grew to love her. Narimiya Hiroki's character was one of the best. He played it out perfectly. (but if you watch this look out for the episode he's whereing a purple shirt with a swastika on it in episode 3).
Music: I loved the music (especially the theme song). It really inhanced the drama.
Overall: I liked it alot. It was funny and kept me hooked to the screen. But like I said, it has inappropriate parts that I must warn you about because it may be the factor that has you not watching this drama.
Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang
Story: Based off Legend of Choon-hyang. Mong Ryong transfers from a high school in Seoul to a small town (Namwon). He meets Choon Hyang, whom he often has fights with, and one thing leads to another and in a matter of days their marriage is set. Choon Hyang soon falls completely in love with Mong Ryong, but he is blinded by his first love, Chae Rin. It's very dramatic (and sometimes you just want to bash Chae Rin and Mr. Byun over the head); it's really cute and funny and romantic.
Acting: Han Chae Young, as Choon-Hyang, was fantastic. She played the role perfectly. Jae Hee, as Mong Ryong, was way hot. On top of that he's a wonderful actor and I can't see anyone else playing this part as well as he did. You could really feel his emotions with him. Uhm Tae Woong, as Mr. Byun, and Park Shi Eun, as Chae Rin, both played their parts perfectly. They really make the viewers envested in this drama.
Music: It fit the drama very, very well.
Overall: I loved this drama. It's everything a drama should be. Romantic, funny, and at times, frankly, completely frustrating (in a good way).
